| Article here from my beloved Chronicle.
Of particular note: "Representatives of the Lucas Valley Estates subdivision produced reams of paperwork asserting that the development was out of character with the bucolic surroundings. Last week, they convinced Marin County Supervisors to delay the project until more studies could be done."
Why, oh why, couldn't we get to review the prequels in advance and object that they're out of character with Star Wars?
Poor George can't create anything people don't hate anymore.
Even his racist PR campaign for Red Tails wasn't enough for the movie to make its money back.

| Also from the article: "The level of bitterness and anger expressed by the homeowners in Lucas Valley has convinced us that, even if we were to spend more time and acquire the necessary approvals, we would not be able to maintain a constructive relationship with our neighbors," said a letter to the community from Lucas' Skywalker Properties. "The residents of Lucas Valley have fought this project for 25 years, and enough is enough."
And remember this: “Why would I make any more [Star Wars films] when everybody yells at you all the time and says what a terrible person you are?”
Maybe you are a terrible person, George. You know, just a bit.

| *Jace's hatred of George Lucas is becoming obsessive!*
I just still remember what he did to Karen Traviss. And he's responsible for this Darth Maul business, too.

| In fairness, there's only three things that make me angry, and George Lucas is one of them.
