I passed my Instructor Certification in Krav Maga! 4 days of training, 8 plus hours a day. It was tough, but ready for phase 2!

There are very few places. I can send you the info if you're interested. It's legit and everything. The guy who runs it has been doing seminars for law enforcement and military, and now he's going to Vegas for the MAIA convention.

He's also trained in Israel.

Wanting nothing is pretty frightening when you think about it.

Modern Buddhists say it means not lusting for material things.

But Buddha was very clear; he meant literally wanting nothing.

Can't get behind that, myself.

What Jace said.

I do want stuff, I don't drink any more, so yeah... But You know... I mean I like it, but I'm not sure if it's something I can get behind.

Krav Maga is the official self defense system of the Israeli Defense Forces. It's badass. A lot of things that are considered illegal in other styles are legal in Krav. For example. On test day all of the men had to wear cups(they were asked to). During the last day, our test day, I was defending myself against a front choke. The defense is followed by a simultaneous kick to the groin. Well the dick head didn't break his grip. The second time. I actually kicked him in the groin, he wasn't wearing a cup, and then finished the move. If I throw a groin strike, I usually check the thigh to be nice. But if my partner is being a poor sport... Aside from that...Defending against a side headlock, we do push her fingers into our partners eyes lol. It does suck. Krav is dangerous and obviously you want to train safely. But you also don't want to not do the moves because of the danger.

Lana. Where are you again? Ohio?
