| I do think crowd-sourcing scrutiny is a good idea - and I also think that it is far more desirable that it be done publicly and openly than in back-rooms.
It just seemed the logical way of dealing with it, quick request up for scrutiny. Management and Adam scrutinize and pick it over, if all was good then they give it the seal of approval; if things needed changing they could be changed.
I've apologized to Adam if the thread came off as prejudicial to him OOC; It was not my goal or objective to upset him and I did offer to blank the post (some time before Management closed it) in addition to heartily apologizing if my form was poor. I think calling this a "spat" blows things out of proportion a bit.
I posted a request for a review of a ruling which looked dodgy (on some fighters utterly uninvolved with the present matters no less). Adam expressed that he was not happy with the method or format of my request. I apologized and offered to withdraw it.
So far as I can see, both Adam and I were acting cordially as soon as I realized I had caused upset, and I think Adam can help disabuse the notion that there is any OOC bad blood between us; this was just a breakdown in communications and perhaps tact on my part but hardly representative of any ill feelings aside from angry words said in the heat of the moment - which we all toss around sometimes.Added (19 Dec 2012, 6:02 PM) --------------------------------------------- Lots of words = I think Karth may be interpreting this as a bigger conflict than it was; on the basis of the thread.

| Heated words seem to be bandied often when you're involved, Jamie. Considering you've focused the majority of your attention on Adam recently, do forgive me if I'm quick to close threads that can be potentially inflammatory before they get any worse. I'm growing tired of this out-of-character fuckery that's taken root, and I'm a little on edge about it.

| I'm a prick and an asshole. Hence why my response to Jamie was anything but cordial. Jamie, my bad. I calmed down. Mostly.
I'm down for letting it go.

| Just was reading up on the ship because it was mentioned and I'd not heard of it before. The fact it was Adam is purely incidental; simply the result of my focusing a lot of attention on all military movement atm and so thought I would read up when I heard a craft name I'd hitherto not heard of or seen in the RP. I would have made the post had it been anyone and it just so happened it was Adam who I am elsewhere engaged with; it was just (politely) trying to bring it to everyones attention as it stuck out as a bit questionable to my mind and not any form of attack on the player. If you dropped say Brentaal or Deralia in, I'd be equally as attentive and scrupulous about picking over the requests and flagging anything which looked odd - flagging it now so it does not get flagged during a battle or circumstance where the use of these forces is pressing or likely.
I don't think there's too much "out of character fuckery", I think that is just grumpy Karth being depressive. Adam and I have been allies as often as we have been enemies, there's no question of any OOC hatin'.
I'm glad we're both able to move forward, and sorry (to Adam) you got back from a day at work to a post which got your hackles up.

| You're right, Jamie, I am grumpy. Three guesses as to why. We'll move on, I'm done here.

| Do you ever wonder if Dwarf Spider Droids get existential angst? Like they really can't do much other than crawl about, look at things, self destruct or blow things up.. Must be a bleak life as a Dwarf Spider Droid. With their big, soulful eyes. Perhaps it's just trying to blow kisses at the people it sees, but knows not his own power.
