| Oh Jamie.
While that isn't so horrible....the original London cast is markedly better. I mean Colm Wilkinson, Roger Allman, Frances Ruffelle...could have done without Patti LuPone, however. But she dies pretty early, so it's ok. Oh and Michael Ball as Marius...puh-lease (not that I have anything against that cutie-patootie Eddie Redmayne, aside from the fact that he can't sing).

| He sings better than the Jonas brother they cast as Marius in the 25th anniversary concert. (Also, to be frank, Michael Ball was too old for the role, even back then). The rest of the 25th anniversary cast were all improvements on the original cast though, except for Norm Lewis as Javert, who was great and all, but not as good as Philip Quast.
