I won my debut kickboxing fight due to unanimous decision. Unfortunately, it will probably be my last. What I thought was an on/off migraine for 2 weeks, was actually more serious. After puking 8 times. I finally went to the ER. According to the cat scans, I have a concussion and brain hemorrhage. The Doctor said I'm lucky to be alive, and one punch could have killed me. He doesn't think I will be able to compete again, and that I'm more prone to those types of injuries. At least I can say I fought like a Warrior. My opponent had about 4-5 mma fights under her belt and I had only 2 months of kick box training. I should be grateful that I'm alive, but I'm heart broken that I may not be able to do what I love.
