| Now, I do not know why I have to redo this again, but here it is... I am re-applying for the Senate seat as Senator of Dantooine.

| Mr. Ray, it is good to see you again. I certainly would not want you to persist in ignorance, so I will gladly remind you why this is necessary. You see, you were admitted to this body as the head of the Self Elected Imperial Colony of Dantooine, which, at that time, was your planet's government. Since you dissolved that government (for reasons, incidentally, that remain unclear to me), you represented a government that no longer existed. And since you have now been selected, it seems, by a new government, you must apply again to represent that government in this body. Regrettable, perhaps. But so it is. While you are here, Mr. Ray, I'm sure the Senate would be interested in an official account from you of the events that have been occurring on your world recently. Of particular curiosity to me is why you seemed to have given in to a fugitive Jedi's demands and lifted a curfew that, if recent events are any indication, was very necessary to keep the peace. Do correct me if I am mistaken, for I am rather confused, as are we all, by what has happened on Dantooine lately.

| Rest assured, that no one has given into the demands any Jedi. Let us be reminded that Jedi command the power of the Force, and as we all know, those weak-minded no doubt listen. Members of the militia that have ignored my orders have been punished to the extreme for their un-professional conduct. As for the new government, it was not working, flawed to the bone, so therefore I took it upon myself to change multiple things in hope that it would work out for the best, not only for my people, but for myself as well.

| I believe, with respect, that the killings of 13 people by terrorists in the streets of Garang would qualify as "unprofessional" behavior. But very well, Mr. Ray. Do assure that the situation on Dantooine remains under control, otherwise the use of Imperial forces will be necessary. Now, Mr. Ray, if you will kindly repeat after me.
