I share your frustration, Senator North, but let us not resort to name calling. And COMPNOR, for the record, is a fine organization. It imparts to the people something that the Old Republic desperately needed—a sense of shared values and responsibilities and, perhaps most of all, a feeling of pride in the government. COMPNOR has inspired thousands of people to dedicate themselves to public and community service, and its sub-adult group (or SAGroup) alone has over 2 trillion members. I cannot imagine an organization more appropriate to devise common standards for education, and this is what, I feel, the Robert North Education Reform Bill shall accomplish.

A brief point of order. Senator Lohden, do I understand that you have changed your vote to be against Senator Cerra's measure?

Apologies Grand Vizier, I forgot to make that clear. I am now voting against this movement, owing to its true nature raising its ugly head. I thought the bill was designed to ensure the education of those who are not normally privy to it, though now I see that it is merely an attempt to enforce certain views upon our youth, without compromise.

As a side note, I also think the intent behind the amendment to introduce outside bodies to oversee and guide the educators was, in fact, a purely innocent and beneficial insurance against the employment of poor educators, and to ensure that everything is running properly. Culling the dead-weight, one might say, to prevent decay setting in. It is unfortunate that something so necessary to any stable education system could bring down this bill.
