| You can stand in the tent and piss out. You can stand outside the tent and piss in. But don't stand in the tent and piss in it too. I vote in favor. Crion should be even more ashamed of himself than usual. Cambrist is right: he has no respect for the Senate, so why is he here? Get out of here, Crion. Go shout on a street corner and see if anyone listens to you. Damn Separatist is what he is. If this was the war, he'd be shot for treason. Don't come to Eriadu, Crion. I don't put up with sedition on my world. I'm more worried about him hiding on Garos though, or Chandrila. Or Carratos. The ISB better watch him, make sure the coward doesn't disappear.
Johannes Oswaldt Senator and Governor of Eriadu

| I will make a point, regarding this speak of Crion being dissociated with his constituency...I will note that he was elected by a vast majority of voters in his last election as Head of State of the Freeworlds. Perhaps it is the region that we must keep our focus on, potentially full of traitors, rather than this lone potential traitor? Regardless, I vote in favor of this motion.
Viceroy Titus Veritas, House Veritas Consul of the House of Lords

| Despite Representative Oswaldt's rather crude way of putting it, I must say I agree with him on the matter of the ISB getting involved. After the unanimous passing of the recently proposed increased security measures, I must ask that Senator Star amend this motion to plea for the ISB to begin cracking down now, particularly on Senators with track records of seditious remarks, anti-Imperial motions and those bordering on treason.

| "Senator Lohden, I would be inclined to accept the proposed amendment but before that I would like to see more concrete language being used. In this specific instance the representative allowed emotions to over ride any good sense and judgement he may have had and spewed traitorous and seditious statements bringing shame upon both this legislative body and upon his own world. His words posed, what must be classified as, a clear and present danger to the security of the empire by insipring rebels and dissidents whom may have heard his remarks. However in other cases it may not be as cut and dry. I would propose that the language in such an amendment would create a sort of "Litmus test," if you will allow me to make the analogy there, for the qualifications for the speech deserving of such measures to be taken by the ISB. In short, a guideline for what the speech must contain before the intervention is needed is the version of the amendment that I would support in this instance."

| The resolution passes with 64% in favor and 36% opposed. It is unfortunate that more Senators did not support the resolution, but so be it. Mr. Crion will now have one week to withdraw his remarks or he shall be removed from office, and the Tapani Freeworlds shall choose a replacement as soon as possible, or have one chosen for them.
