Being in my spare time a mineralogist, I must say that I congratulate Vjun on its discovery of the "Stone of Justice" and fully intend to purchase a small amount of the aurodium alloy for my own private collection, it is a truly marvellous specimen and to me it serves to demonstrate that Vjun's contribution to the scientific endeavour has not gone unrewarded and may I say that I hope this heralds an era of greater spending on Science and the pursuit of knowledge in thE Empire.

May I say that it is also highly benevolent of Vjun to offer Volus the gift of a museum exhibit on the stone near their system, in addition to the generous gift of a pair of circlets to Volus.

"Volus, senator, has more pressing concerns than a piece of rock, however big I will grant you, and some trinkets made from said rock. The rock in question was discovered 10 standard years ago by Volusian scientists and was cataloged as a potential candidate for entering our system. However it was deemed a waste of resources to simply destroy it before then and no action was taken because, as I said, we have more pressing concerns on our agenda than a large rock. If Vjun is so interested the people of Volus would be more than happy to share decades of sensor data on other nearby rocks which they can then mine to their hearts content."

I think it is very good that Volus did not destroy it! To find a rock 18 inches across containing billions of credits worth of aurodium is incredibly rare! Certainly the find has financed the cost of the Vjun Sensor Array a thousand times over.

I would like to thank Senator Ordan for his congratulations. And I hope the Government of Volus enjoys the benevolent gift my people have donated to it in good spirit and with a generous and open heart. Also we would like to thank Volus for its permission to establish mining bases close to its system, we must add however, that the space outside of the Volus system is not the property of Volus, and we do not need their permission to operate there, we fully intend to prospect the area using our array and will supply the results to the Imperial Bureau of Resources.

If Vjun is not interested in the Volusian offer to share sensor data on asteroids in its vicinity (with the presence of Vjun's sensor array already there, this is, of course, understandable), Brentaal would certainly be interested. Perhaps you can forward this information to my office when convenient for you, Senator Star? The possibility of recovering billions of credits in aurodium—as Vjun has—is one that Brentaal, for the sake of its people, cannot ignore. Also, Senator Oriel, it is my understanding that space on your sensor array is rented to private parties for scientific purposes. Is it also rented for commercial purposes and, if so, is there any space available at this time?
