| Senator Veritas, I have it reliably that, having recovered from your recent ordeal, you intend to complete the sale of surplus, Clone Wars era vessels to Imperial worlds, as His Majesty has bid you do. If this is the case, I would like to place some bids on behalf of Brentaal for the following vessels (if they are available). 4 Arquetins-class Light Cruisers, for which I bid 5,000,000 credits.
2 DP-20 Frigates, for 4,000,000 credits.
4 CR-20 Troop Carriers, for 900,000 credits.
6 Nu-class Attack Shuttles, for 300,000 credits. I'm sure you will find these bids reasonable, as they are, for the most part, at or near market value.

| Vjun believes in paying the Emperor a fair price for his products. We would like to take the time and benevolence to donate these ships (if purchased successfully) to the heroic Military of Dantooine as a show of solidarity between us and our kind agricultural suppliers in the outer rim, perhaps we have paid over the odds for these vessels, but to see such vessels in the hands of the hardy folk of Dantooine will be a pleasure indeed.

| Yes, of course, senator. However, Dantooine would have likely been served better by 11 NEW versions of this craft for the same amount or 20 used for the same amount of credits.

| Senator Domon, while I thank you for the gift of friendship, I feel I must emphasize the point quite clearly. That there is no problem with the pirates. These minor nuisances have turned out to be little more than suicide missions for those pirates foolish enough to take on Volusian defenses with the pirates suffering a nearly 100% mortality rate.

| Just because you currently have no issue with pirates does not mean you will not in the future. The forces that struck at the Vjun station were quite well-armed and quite capable from the reports. If they choose to strike at Volus, you might be wise to be prepared. If you do not wish the gift of shuttles, I cannot make you accept them, but Sluis Van's bid still stands.
