| "Empress Teta would like to announce its intent to hold an Imperial Military Appreciation Week in honor of the every day sacrifices made by our men in uniform and would like to encourage other Imperial worlds to do the same. Further details will be forthcoming regarding schedules and events, and considering the varying nature of Imperial patrols, we may very well schedule individual weeks for different Imperial units as they are able to travel to the Empress Teta sector.
We would like to especially highlight the recent tragic death of Moff Lestrade and his men in the action against the Hapan pirates. It does not serve the Empire well to forget those who give so much so we might live in our safe and happy society.
I would also like to personally announce my intent to hold an event on Imperial Center in honor of our brave military, during which I will announce a special action to honor and reward those who serve us so faithfully."

| Being a former military man myself, and a great patriot of our Armed Forces, I no doubt vote in favor, and also would like to do as my fellow Senators are doing. I also will offer the services of the Dantooine Militia Honor Guard for these festivities.
