| Naboo condemns as strongly as it can this murder of tens of thousands of ethnic Cronese on Embaril, the Emperor's subjects to every man, woman, and child. We all agree, surely, that the psychotically unrepentant Mr. McCray has no place in this Senate now, nor anywhere else but prison. I also recommend that Senators be wary of his cynical ploy to ingratiate his world to yours with enlistment in your world's forces in what is, clearly, an attempt to escape the consequences of his actions. Naboo supports the Imperial presence on Embaril, to protect any remaining Cronese or any other minority that Mr. McCray and his bloodthirsty militias decide to massacre next.
Artemis Vanden Representative of the Naboo

| Mr Vanden your bellicose rhetoric is highly un-useful. The Ethnic Cronese' leader embarked upon a policy of systematic slaughter of the villages around his settlement, as such we partook of a retaliatory campaign against him, we were forced to storm his capital although Lord Gilbert himself escaped we did manage to put to the sword those who perpetrated the massacre against my people.
The upwelling of hatred against the Cronese was regrettable and bloody, but it was neither ordered nor approved of by the leaders of the ruling clans. I hasten to add that under Clan Law these assaults on the Ethnic Cronese were completely acceptable (in traditional law going back 20,000 and more years). I would remind Mr Vanden that while he comes from a culture where things may be solved most often with words, we have little issue with using physicality to solve our conflicts - and in what respect is this any less legitimate? So what of death? Do you fear death? For me I look forward to the day I take a long sleep in the ground and no longer have to listen to the incessant babbling of Cronese sympathisers.
We have had intelligence the Cronese rebels were in contact with rebel groups across the Galaxy. It is indeed possible that it was they who were guilty of carrying out the recent "attacks" on the Cronese Mandate which served as justification to take moves against small worlds such as us and increase their military presence. We will take no moves to oppose the Imperial Garrison, the troops of the Empire are like us, warriors, and we respect fellow warriors and will allow them every honour and convenience.
Alexander "Warhawk" McCray Earl of Embaril Thane of Brightdeen

| Senator Tu'rot, I ask that you control your outbursts. They are not becoming of a Senator and do nothing to aid this discussion.

| Senators, the Senator-elect from Embaril is correct that Imperial forces have been dispatched to his world to ascertain the facts of this dispute and to keep the peace if necessary. Once these operations have concluded, the issue of Embaril's representation in the Senate can be revisited, but for now Mr. McCray is declined entry to the Senate until the Empire's fact finding and pacification operations on his planet are over—this will be sooner rather than later, of course, with the cooperation of Mr. McCray and his government, which the Empire expects and demands. In the meantime, good day, Mr. McCray, and let us move on, Senators.
