| Senators, the city of Cormond on Brentaal is hosting a "Good Governance Forum" event in which planetary representatives are welcome to discuss and debate the advantages of their unique forms of government. Sponsored by the Society for the Improvement of the Outer Rim, the event will be broadcast on the holonet in the hope that it will be informative to developing planets on the Outer Rim in need of government solutions to societal problems. I'll be participating myself, and I hope in particular that Deralia and Vjun will accept an invitation; recently, the Senators of both worlds have argued earnestly for their respective forms of government, and I hope they will compare and contrast their governments with Brentaal's and those of the other participants in this forum.
It's preferable for the panel to remain small, so as to have a concise discussion/debate. So far, if they accept the invitation, the panel will consist of Brentaal, Deralia, and Vjun. But one or two other worlds are welcome to participate if they feel they have something unique to contribute to the forum. I'd encourage the Senators of these worlds to make a case here (briefly) if they'd like to join us.

| I believe that Acherin would fit this bill as well! As we all are well aware, Acherin rebelled against the Empire and paid for it in the form of one of our traitorous cities being ground zeroed by turbolaser fire! Since then, the old government agreed that being completely neutral from either side, being the Empire and those that are not members of the Empire. However, with my rise to power in Acherin, I have washed out the old system with a new one! One that glorifies the Empire, as well as carries on the Emperor's wish of Peace and Stability throughout the galaxy!

| Lorrd would like to participate in this meeting due to its form of tri-house government; a system that could be used among many Outer Rim worlds to bring peaceful, effective government.

| I'm sure that's true, Senator Lepkin, and I don't disparage Lorrd's form of government. But for this particular event, I'm not sure it'd provide the best contrast, as Brentaal's government is comprised of a system of noble houses not dissimilar from Lorrd's government. Deralia represents a classical monarchy, and Vjun represents a feudal-style aristocracy (all three of these with democratic hues, however). We would prefer that any additional participants bring a sharper contrast to the panel. You're welcome to join the audience, however. And you are too, Senator Tu'rot—the government of Acherin restored law and order to the planet, but having come to power in a crisis it may be too soon, academically, to hold it up as an exemplar. I mean no disrespect, of course.

| Perhaps you could find room for a few mid-rim senator's to speak and share their experience on helping the planet they are the senator for.

| Empress Teta salutes this endeavor by Brentaal, and wonders if perhaps a monarchy that has not been in the tabloids would be welcome?
In our rapidly modernizing galaxy, monarchy is an archaic and dated form of government - but the Damar dynasty has so far managed to rule in the enlightened manner with which a benevolent autocrat is supposed to. Perhaps it would serve well for younger and less mature monarchies to see the workings of such a thing. If there isn't space in the Forum, perhaps we can simply make other arrangements.
King Leonard - nor the people of Empress Teta for that matter, do not want to see the Empire abolish monarchy as an allowed form of government, considering ours has served us so well.
Lady Avadrie volFyr Senator of Empress Teta Defense Committee Member
