I'm sorry, Mr. Snar, but I don't feel that "scans" are enough proof. Physical proof would have been better. But to answer your question, no. I don't condone deaths of anyone, your people or Lorridans.

This discussion is going nowhere. Prime Minister S'nar, what is it you want from us?

An excellent question, Senator Cambrist. I would like to see Lorrd reprimanded for their attempt to smuggle weapons into a zone that's already rife with conflict. And I will state openly that it is the intent of Argazda to drive out the Lorrdian miners who no doubt caused this issue and restore Destrando City to full productivity. I would like the backing of the Senate in this endeavor.

Prime Minister, Argazda

If that is indeed your case, then it's an issue for the defense committee.

If I am to understand you correctly, Prime Minister, you intend to kill or capture or, as you state, 'drive out' any Lorrdians in Destrando City. I cannot sit idly by while your people attack, maim and slaughter hardworking Lorrdians. If this is the course you are truly set upon walking, then Lorrd will respond accordingly.

Would not a de-militarization of this platform and an independently-brokered resource rights agreement be the simplest solution to this dispute? Is the Moff of your sector not able to do this?

That was the initial set-up, Senator Cambrist. Moff Shirnoq, however, believes in letting people settle disputes to an extent, as well as survival of the fittest. Having spoken to him, I believe he fully intends to intervene if the situation gets too out of hand. As the good Prime Minister is wishing to land more troops and, by his own word, drive out the Lorrdians, I believe it is reaching that point.

I should think so. I can't imagine anyone is well-served by Moff Shirnoq's neutrality on the eve of war—a war that could result in the widespread destruction of resources and infrastructure that are critical to his Sector. And surely he has a responsibility to stop interstellar arms smuggling in the Kanz Sector?

The fact that neither Lorrd nor Argazda are calling for Moff Shirnoq's involvement in this dispute makes me suspect that neither of you truly want a peaceful solution to this dispute. Argazda has been quite clear on this. Lorrd has been coy. This, too, is something Moff Shirnoq should take note of.

I doubt there is any interstellar arms smuggling going on in the Kanz Sector. Moff Shirnoq is not a fan of criminal activities. However, the Moff believes in survival of the fittest and settlement of disputes within reason. However, if Lorrd was going to commit vessels, we would have already done so. There is no being coy about this, Senator Cambrist. I simply want to see a peaceful resolution.

Of course, Senator. Lorrd is the soul of nonaggression. There are few things that would rile us to interplanetary war.

If I may presume to speak to for the Senate, Prime Minister S'nar, it appears there is little appetite among my honorable colleagues for involvement in a Lorrd-Argazda dispute of ambiguous origin and with no wider inter-sector implications in evidence. I reiterate my own view that this is a matter for the Moff of the Kanz Sector, however he chooses to handle it, or not handle it as the case may be. Perhaps, Prime Minister, you would have more luck lobbying individual Senators for their support rather than expecting any sort of unanimity from this body on a dispute about which they're poorly-informed and, apparently, disinterested.

More than fair enough, Senator Cambrist. Argazda will fight its own battles without assistance from the Senate.

Gentlebeings, I think you for your time.

Prime Minister, Argazda

Thank you, Mr. S'nar.

The Ruling Council will be in contact with Moff Shirnoq on this matter. Naturally, both Lorrd and Argazda are expected to comply with any directives he may issue to you.

For now, Senators, let us move on to other matters.
