| Hardly horse trading seats, Senator Oriel. If you read the context of my wording, you'd see that I said I would feel better about the bill being withdrawn. I had already expressed intent to withdraw the bill either way. I simply believe that having a dedicated technical expert on the Defense Committee would be helpful in the event you vanish again, for health reasons or otherwise.
A simple no would have sufficed, if you're not open to the idea of Senator Kirkwood on the Defense Committee, and I'll point this same item out to the Chairman as well.
