| The Imperial March should be played where it is appropriate, not where the central state dictates. This is an unwarranted intrusion into the lives of educational systems across the Galaxy. It's also completely inoperative - there's no way to prove if the anthem was played except on the word of a group of school children. I think it'd be wise to consult the Economics Committee on the cost of actually enforcing this act.
Thus I vote again, one thousand times against this travesty of a law.

| If Senator Ryuun is willing to entertain the suggested power for Imperial Governors and Sector Moffs to grant exceptions (to allow some other form of patriotism to be expressed instead) where there is a pressing reason to do so - then I will happily add my vote in favor of the act, despite my previous misgivings.
