| Crin's shuttle landed on Volus and she was the first one down followed by a few aides. She believed that this wouldn't take long as the King had already submitted all the documents requested by the Inquisitor and she was now left with the interview with the inquisitor. At her arrival she would meet Loton with a soft smile exchanging a few pleasantries. They had even worked this out to her advantage as she would be taking the shuttle back with the princess so they wouldn't have need to use so many shuttles at once. Her own shuttle would lift up after refueling and head on back towards Imperial Center right away so that it would keep up the appearance that it was a very short trip, which it would be. Crin would brush off the black uniform she was wearing, the typical dress uniform of a retired officer in the Volusian military, or rather the typical dress uniform of the Volusians. It was what she had most often been seen in with a few other suits for when in the Senate. As soon as she was down the Inquisitor would be sent a comm notifying him of her arrival and her desire to meet with him right away to get this 'meeting' over with as soon as possible.

| Deschain's reply over the comm was simple. He needed Senator Star to meet him on-board the Avenger. The Volusian ship was a much more efficient meeting place as he could meet and speak with the Senator and the Admiral separately without actually having to fly back and forth from planet to ship.

| Crin would turn around and board one of the standard vessels to carry her to the ship. Deschain would be told that the senator was on her way to the ship immediately to meet with him. The shuttle itself would take off as soon as she was on board and flew straight for the Avenger landing as soon as the doors were open and the landing spot was approved.

| Deschain would be awaiting Star in one of the numerous conference rooms on board the massive ship. He rose when she entered, greeting her politely and welcoming her to sit and make herself comfortable. "The Empire apologizes for any inconvenience, Senator, but allegations have been made from a source that requires investigation. I have need to look through your personnel records and verify emploment of your aides and assistants. It is possible one or more rebel groups have compromised Volusian security; an act that the Empire will not stand."

| Crin replied in kind with the greeting before moving to take a seat across from Deschain listening to him begin. "I am happy to assist the inquisitorius in any manner that I can as you will find the people of Volus will be. We harbor no insubordination nor any insurgents from the Empire, nor do we have anything to hide from any view of either yourself or the Empire." she said sending an order to have all necessary documents forwarded to the Inquisitor. "As you will see when looking over my staff, they mostly served Senator Prosper, my predecessor." She paused before continuing. My personal records, for the most part, have not been hidden either from the public or the Empire. I served on Volus during the invasion and then left to fight in a non-clone unit for the republic during the clone wars becoming a decorated officer in that unit. After they were over I returned to Volus and aided the military in reorganizing to be more efficient using many things I had learned while in the service of the Old Republic and rose to the rank of Brigadier General before being nominated by King Motour to the position of replacement to the then-aging Senator, Prosper. From there my record has been quite public." She explained briefly hoping being upfront would answer the man's questions before they were asked.

| "An exemplary record, Senator. I will certainly be investigating your associates further. Just to make sure, you understand. We know more of you than of those who work under you, after all." Deschain paused for a moment. "Tell me Senator, what are your views of the Jedi and the Force? I am curious how the antiquated Order appears to an outsider."

| "I served with Jedi in the Clone Wars, as I will not deny. Back then the jedi were figures to look up to and our commanders we looked up to them, but that was before their treason. They are traitors and a grave danger to the security of the empire. The ability to wave a hand and influence the minds of others endangers a lot of people and as such I feel they should be hunted down and destroyed. As for the force.." she shrugged. "I don't know enough about it to have an opinion. All I know its some kind of like diety to the jedi that gives them their power."

| "You are ill-informed about the Force, Senator, but I cannot expect you to know everything. As for the Jedi... yes, they must be hunted down... but extermination is a last resort, Senator. If any Jedi were to turn up on Volus, their capture would be worth far more than their death. Ka-Dek, the Jedi Master your men apprehended will make a nice addition... well, we will leave it at that. "I shall require the personnel folders as soon as possible, Senator. If I may switch conversations now, I turn to the Avenger. How is construction going on this vessel? I understand, if I read the reports correctly, that the Jedi was apprehended attempting to board the vessel? Or am I mistaken?"

| "Apologies, inquisitor, but I have spent little time in the company of jedi and have very limited knowledge of their belief system first hand and what I have heard has either been from less than reputable sources, or the Empire who tends to keep most of the information beyond my pay grade and rightfully so. The jedi was captured adrift in space and was brought on board by tractor beams to be apprehended by an awaiting security team. We had, at that point, no reason to suspect that he was a jedi and he was stunned during the brief scuffle. At least that was the report that I received. As soon as the identity was apparent we contacted the Empire immediately and had him moved to a secure facility. Construction is nearly complete. We are modifying the guns to be compliant with the laws and have already removed the compliment of aggressive ground vehicles from its hanger bay. Though as we are allowed to by the law the medical shuttles are remaining in place."

| "I see. Admirable, very admirable work by the Volusian security. Still, the presence of a Jedi making a move for this vessel makes me wonder. It is not finished yet, correct? I will be stationing a platoon of Purifiers aboard the vessel to ensure that, should any further Jedi or Force-adept attackers make a bid for the ship, they can be dealt with quickly and efficiently and with less losses to your own people. It should bolster the support of any crew, seeing the loyal troopers working next to them. "This recent pirate activity... it is good that your forces took no losses. It says here that you were able to disable one of the vessels, but it initiated a self destruct. This is poor, Senator Star. Very poor. You need to speak to your king about acquiring some ion weaponry. Dead pirates are pirates I cannot question, which means I cannot follow a lead back to their commander. I am sure they will come again."

| Crin nodded a bit. "The ship in question was ambushed by our pair of CR90 Corvettes and although we regret that they decided to self destruct the ship there was little we could have done in the situation to have changed the outcome." she looked at the inquisitor considering for a moment. "We welcome your Purifiers onto the ship and will extend every courtesy of Volusian hospitality to them and anyone else of the Empire on board one of our ships."

| "Good, good." Deschain fell silent for a moment, considering all that Star had told him. It seemed as if everything was perfect, which made Deschain doubt all the more. The pattern of attacks were far too frequent for Deschain to believe it was simple pirate activity. Most pirates wouldn't bother attacking such a heavily defended world as Volus, even without the Imperial support. The unfinished battleship though, might well prove to be a worthwhile target for any raiders. "I have nothing further for you at the moment, Senator. Is there anything else you wish to speak of?" He worked subtly through the Force, turning his words into an insidious worm of sorts, meant to loosen Star's tongue. It was not the same mind trick that was aimed at simpletons; no, this was more of a compulsion, a powerful urge to tell if there was anything burdening Star's conscience.

| Crin could feel a desire to speak further but controlled herself. "Why yes there is Inquisitor." she said offering a soft smile. "I am rather concerned about these pirate attacks. Pirates do not normally attack worlds as heavily defended as Volus and even with our ship in the docks we still have a lot of fighters and have even just added new ships to our fleet so there must be some reason they are trying to attack a world as heavily fortified as ours is." she said letting that go. He would likely sense that she was harder than most both mentally and physically disciplined and hardened and would have trouble getting a good read on her.

| Deschain did not trust those he could not easily read, and the Jedi's words, trustworthy or not, had him concerned. He pushed again with the Force as he spoke, compelling and working his way in, planting the seeds that would ideally grow to fruition and crack the Senator wide open, providing she did indeed have something to hide. "Perhaps Volus would be better suited with different defenses. I have yet to speak to Admiral Corvus, but I believe the Imperial Starfleet should take the role of observers and advisers for the time being. Volus' militia seems to have things in hand, after all, and if the attacks continue with small vessels, there should be no issue of your corvettes not being able to handle it. Remind me though, what is the current statistics of the Volusian naval forces? "And you are quite sure, Senator, that you have nothing more? Nothing of interest you could share with me?"

| Crin felt the pressure on her mind pushing against her defenses. She let out a soft sigh keeping her defenses raised by focusing on the numbers that she had memorized repeating them again and again in her head. If he touched her mind that would be what he would sense the numbers of the Volusian fleet. "1 Avenger Class-Battleship, 2 XQ5 Space stations, 3 Squadrons of Z-95s, 1 squadron V-wings, 1 squadron V-19s, 4 YT-1300 freighters, 8 Skipray Blastboats, 3 Kappa-class shuttles, 2 sprint-class rescue craft, 2 IR-3F Patrol Craft, 2 IPV-1s, 2 CR90 Corvettes, and of course other various shuttles" she rattled off to him. "With a single Callix-1 station to be delivered." she finished off continuing to repeat it in her mind. "Nothing else to share, inquisitor." she said simply. "Is that all then?"
