["We told them not to go, but their ambition got the best of who they truly were"]

Vandaxa, it was the perfect place to hide from the galaxy... more importantly, it was the perfect place to hide from enemies and allies alike. Shiva thought the Jedi was Tatooine, unfortunately for him, Havoc had chosen to mis-lead the man, not only due to their little blowout, but also because of the fact that while attempting to meet with Shiva, a bounty hunter had tracked them both, and no doubt would of bugged Shiva's vessel. It was this little incident that caused Havoc to yet again become a shadow within the sight of the Galaxy. As the Jedi stood on top of a rock cliff, he vision was cault by an Acklay, whom as roaming the blinding plains in search of some food. Yet as Havoc was fixed upon this creature, he then turned to the sound of what sounded like a vessel approaching. The sound rang an alarm in Havoc's head, causing him to not only duck at face pace, but to also begin his slow creep up towards the top where he could get the advantage of the vessel. A YT-1300 freighter had decided to join Havoc on this planet. Raising a brow, the Jedi begun to fix his sight on the vessel. Calling upon the force, the Jedi would mask his own signature, therefore is the pilot or crew were Force Sensitive, they would be able to locate the Jedi. Instead they would feel as if everything were calm within the force. Raising the hood on his robe, the Jedi begun to crawl around the rock pile to get to the ground level. All at the same time, Havoc proficient use in the force would detect that there was indeed a force user within that vessel. Gripping his lightsaber, Havoc begun to wonder if a force user had followed him to this planet. Though from the vibe Havoc had received, the signature was that of a friendly nature. So he would test the crew.

As he proceeded down the rocks, the Jedi would reveal his wrist, in which was a small band around it. This band had controls to call upon his Jedi Starfighter. As the Jedi begun to push buttons, the Starfighter would lift itself up from where it was and proceed to fly over the YT-1300, no doing anything by fly over it and disappear over the horizon. Havoc would hide in the shadows of the rock pile, though in clear view of the freighter, and watch as he slowly proceeded down the pile.

Just as Darwin was helping Kaylie get up, he heard a sound from the outside. It was a ship flying by, leading the Jedi to grab ahold of Kaylie and pulled her toward the landing ramp. The ship actually sounded like a Jedi starfighter. Of course, he'd have known that. Darwin being both a Jedi and a veteran of the Clone Wars himself. He flew his Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor a lot during the war, and saw and heard it a lot as well. "I know that sound." He whispered to Kaylie, just as they were walking toward the landing ramp that Artie was watching.

The next thing Darwin decided to do is to draw the lightsaber out, and activated it. A blue glow came to life, and his senses were wary at the moment. While it may be a Jedi flying the ship, it's far more likely to be a trap. The Jedi has seen a number of Eta-2s being employed by Imperial pilots post-Clone Wars. "Keep your eyes open. It could be a trap, Kay." He whispered to her once again. If there was someone approaching the trio, they'd hear a humming sound of which is a lightsaber.

She sighed and let Darwin help her up, but when they heard the sound overhead, she looked up. It wasn't like she would be able to see out or anything, but it was habit. "I really don't think we should go out there, Dar." Kaylie protested as Darwin dragged her though the ship. The movement hurt, but she wouldn't say anything to him about it. No, there were more important things happening than to worry about that.

Once they were outside, Kaylie looked up at the sky just in time to see the ship dissapear. "I really don't like this...." She murmured as he activated the lightsaber. It was then she realized that she didn't have any weapons on her, not that she was a good shot anyway.

["We were surrounded, and just when hope seemed to end..."]

As Havoc finally reached ground level from the rock hill, he had noticed the sound of a lightsaber activating, leading Havoc to believe that it was either a Jedi or a Dark Lord answering the Jedi's call of his starfighter flying above. It would of been an obvious sound indeed, and it was lucky to draw their attention. As Havoc continued to hide in the shadows, he observed the freighter. From what he could gather, there was no markings of any kind, therefore leading it to automatically be Imperial. His eyes glanced at a pair of people walking down the ramp, exposing themselves to Havoc's glance. Another thing to gain his attention was that of a blue blade in the hands of what appeared to be a male. Grinning some, Havoc would play the game and remove himself from the shadows, all while activating his saber at the same time. Looking at the man, Havoc pointed his saber towards him. "You there!" Cried Havoc's voice as he took a few steps forward. Removing his hood, Havoc's face would be exposed. While he could not identify the woman, he glimpsed the man's face and begun to think about whom it reminded him as.

Darwin looked at Kaylie for a moment, "You'll be safe with me, I promise you." The Jedi slowly walked off the ramp and onto the grassy ground floor. If someone saw both Darwin and Kaylie, they'd see that the duo wasn't in such a good shape. He didn't want to reach out with the Force, that'd tip the Inquisitors off. Even worse, he could tip the Dark Lord himself off if Darth Vader could really detect the Jedi. Darwin had been avoiding the Imperials' detection for a decade now, it had become almost an instinct.

The Jedi looked back at Kaylie for another moment, to make sure she was okay and all that. At the tip of his right eye, he saw a lightsaber activating. It wasn't his, and it caused him to look back at the source. All while raising his lightsaber a little bit to protect himself and Kaylie almost immediately. The stranger came out of the shadows, revealing the face. By the color of the lightsaber, it looked like the stranger was a Jedi too. However, it could be a trick and could be an Inquisitor. Boy, the day hasn't been going well and Darwin doesn't want it to get worse. "Stay back Kaylie, there's no telling what will happen." The Jedi barked at her, not recognizing who the man was.

Kaylie sighed and stopped on the ramp right where she was when Darwin snapped at her. She understood why he did it. He was worried about her safety, but from what she understood, if this was not a good Jedi, there wasn't a whole lot that would keep her safe from him. Not even Darwin. She stayed back, lingering on the upper part of the ramp. When she was idle, for the first time since the crash, she realized how much she actually hurt. Her whole body ached and the pain in her arm throbbed and was making her nauseous. She kept steady, however, and re-focused so that she could help Darwin if he needed it. Likely she wouldn't be able to do much, but she would at least try and wouldn't go down without a fight.

["All I could remember about that day was the fire in the sand."]

Judging by the over the top reflexes that the man was obviously well versed in the Force. Yet to watch him raise his blade in defense was interesting to say. This allowed Havoc to grin a little as he took a step closer. "I'm sorry if I startled you... Jedi." Havoc proclaimed as he kept advancing. "But I seemed to have mis-placed my starfighter... perhaps you can help me?" All that could be seen on Havoc's face was a smirk. He stopped out of Darwin's distance, but managed to get a good look at the man's face. "You remind me of someone..." That was all the Jedi could say as he de-actived his lightsaber and lowered his arm. Pondering on the thought, he continued to study Darwin. "You carry an injured... Jedi." Havoc commented, as he pointed at the ramp with his finger. The force had echoed to him the feelings of not only Darwin, but of the girl he kept with her too. "You would do yourself a favor to bring her to me..." He rubbed his chin smoothly. "Unless you want her to die...."

While the stranger was studying Darwin, he was studying the man as well. The stranger seems to know that he was a Jedi. Perhaps the man was a Jedi himself, or perhaps he was an Inquisitor. Darwin assumed the man used the Force to detect him. No matter, this was something that has to be dealt with...one way or another. "What if I'm not a Jedi? What if I'm just someone proficient at using a lightsaber?" That was an obvious lie, but from the way the stranger made an entrance, he was apprehensive about it.

The man admitted that Darwin reminded him from someone. Perhaps he was really a Jedi. Is he someone Darwin knew from the Clone Wars? Only time will tell. He wasn't sure if he should be lowering the lightsaber. However, the stranger had done so, and it was probably the time to give him the benefit of doubt. The lightsaber was deactivated and returned to his belt. "A lot of people say I reminded them of someone. Perhaps you knew me from the Clone Wars?" Darwin was little more willing to talk at the moment.

"Is that a threat...Jedi?" He couldn't be sure if it was really a threat, but with the tone the stranger had taken...who could blame him? "I'm not going to let her die. She's going to be just fine."

Kaylie didn't feel well, that was for sure, but she wouldn't let Darwin know that. This stranger, however, seemed to know. The adrenaline was starting to wear off and the girl felt faint and sick. She rested a hand on one of the struts of the landing ramp to keep herself steady. "I'm fine...."she reassured Dar with a forced smile. "I'll be fine. " She was a little worried about the stranger, but Darwin seemed to have it under control.

["The sounds of war can be deafening to those that play ignorance."]

The emissions from the girls pain was enough for Havoc to grin now. Glancing at the man, there was no doubt that he was a Jedi. No one really spoke of the Clone Wars, and that included Havoc. It was part of the reason the man rarely ever slept, due to the fact that whenever he closed his eyes flashbacks happened. The war turned the once calm Jedi into someone impatience and ruthless against his enemies... but what was a man to do when his enemy was a droid? Droids had no feelings, and thus to beat the enemy, you had to modify your tactics. For Havoc, this ment becoming what many would call a Dark Jedi, but he was still a Jedi none the less. "That is no threat... that is a promise" His glance turned towards the ramp. "I happen to be proficient in the art of Force Healing... though the girl will need much rest and limited movement." His glance shot back to Darwin. "My name is Havoc, and if you were anything of a Clone War veteran... you would know of me and my adventures on the field of battles... now step aside." He would make his way up the ramp, and would push Darwin out of the way if need be, just to reach the girl. With his name known, no doubt would this man get the idea of whom he was dealing with...

The Jedi would let out a heavy sigh, and it was kinda a sigh of relief. He had hoped that his decision to lower the lightsaber was a right one, albeit that it was against his instincts. Clone Wars had brought many scars to Darwin as well, in fact it was hard for him to mention it at all. He wouldn't mention it if he didn't have to, however, the color of the stranger's blade led him to believe that it was necessary. Indeed, the droids had no feelings. They were simply programmed to do whatever their leader wanted them to do, including countless atrocities. Once the stranger mentioned he was pretty good at Force Healing, he felt a little more willingness to let the stranger get closer.

Darwin was still apprehensive about it, but once the stranger mentioned his name. The Jedi spoke almost right away, "Jedi Knight Havoc?" He turned sideways to allow the Jedi Knight to heal Kaylie. Indeed, he knew the Jedi Knight and his infamous tenure during the Clone Wars. Many of the Jedi that didn't get involved in the Clone Wars went as far as accusing Havoc of utilizing the Dark Side of the Force against the Separatists. Sure, his actions may be very questionable but so were several of the Jedi that fought in the war. Darwin had done a lot of things that he wasn't proud of as well, but he learned that terrible things will happen in a war. That is inevitable, and that is why he understood why Havoc did a lot of things that could have been avoided in the peacetime. The Jedi Knight was well known for do whatever means necessary to defeat the Separatists, something that most Jedi wouldn't do.

"Kay, don't worry. You're in good hands." He spoke with an approval, one that hopefully would have Kaylie let go of her brave front and let the infamous Jedi do the work.

Kaylie looked between the two of them, frowning a little as the men introduced themselves to each other. She took a step forward, towards the other Jedi, letting go of the strut on the ramp as she moved. "I'm Kaylie." She introduced herself, since Darwin had not. "Kaylie Winters." She said before she looked to Darwin for a moment after he spoke.

"It's getting dark....I would rather be inside......" She said as she turned to move, but didn't make it far before she fell to the ramp to her knees.
