["In battle, things always came apart. I guess it was part of Murphy's Law."]

Exiting the cockpit, he would proceed back towards the engine room, running into his own astromech droid, R4. The droid would beep attempting to start a conversation with the Jedi. All Havoc did was smirk a little. "Well R, we're going to assest the damage done to the engines and see what we can scrap for parts... and if need be, we'll make our own makeshift parts."

Darwin shook his head, leaning in so he could attempt to prevent her from getting up. "Actually, I think you should listen to his advice and lay still." The Jedi smiled a little bit, kissing on her forehead. "I know you love fixing things, but this time you got to let us do our job." Then he would get up, turning around so he could walk out of the room.

The Jedi would head for the engine room, of which Artie would follow. He spotted Havoc, "Havoc, what parts need some repair and replacing?" That was all Darwin would say, with Artie chirping excitedly. It was his first time repairing the ship without Kaylie, it was extremely annoying for him with Kaylie treating him like a tin can.

"I don't know that I trust him, Dar...." She said as she started her protest. "And I definitely don't think you guys can do this without me." She murmured as she leaned back against the pillows and just watched him. He left anyway and she sighed.

Instead of protesting anymore, Kaylie yawned and turned over to take a bit of a nap. She would help, whether they wanted or not, when she woke.

["Usually whenever something was broken, a good kick would solve the problem."]

As Havoc and R4 entered the engine room, The Jedi and R4 would get right to work, start off to inspect it and make a note of what needs fixing.

(This part I'll leave to you guys since it is your ship and thread)

Darwin and Artie would get inside the engine room, helping both Havoc and his droid in repairing the light freighter. It was the sublight engines that needed serious repairing. The hyperdrive was leaking, and there were a couple of things that needed some repairing too. The couplings needed to be replaced, and the circuits were fried. They would need to be replaced as well. The Jedi shook his head, "Damn the Imperials." He thought to himself. They were the reason the ship were in this condition.

At this point, he hoped that they wouldn't track the crew to Vendaxa. It's probably not likely, though. Artie went to try and repair the circuits, as Darwin wasn't sure what should be fixed first. He figured that the sublight engines should be the first one to go. Without it, the crew can't even get the ship to take off.

While they worked, Kaylie did finally fall asleep. As she slept, she had nightmares of them crossing wires and messing up her engine room. It wasn't very restful.

When she finally woke, she ached, and sighed, and then winced when she tried to stretch. Kaylie pulled herself up and moved slowly down to the engine room to see what was going on. "How bad is it?" She murmured weakly to whomever was closest or heard her first.

["Under fire, I could of reflected many bolts... but trying to solve an issue... it was hell."]

As she entered the room, Havoc looked at her. "Well, I accidently put a hole in your hyperdrive system... now I can't get it to stop leaking." He commented as he looked at R4. "We're going to have to pull apart our ship. We should have enough to make this thing operational... atleast to get us to the next port for proper repairs." As they proceeded by Kaylie, he winked a little as he walked by. Going down the ramp to exit the YT-1300, Havoc and R4 would proceed in ripping the ship apart slowly, and making runs into the YT-1300... giving all the spare parts they could to Darwin... though this took a while.

Darwin would put each spare parts in different areas of the ship. Obviously, he didn't want them to mistakenly put wrong parts in wrong part of the ship. The Jedi then proceeded to try his best in fixing the sublight engines up. He wanted to get things done as soon as possible, so they could get off Vendaxa and go about the crew's business. The Jedi knew that might take a while, and they would have to make a pit stop for proper repair. It'd be hard to find at least a decent place to repair the ship in the Outer Rim. Perhaps Havoc knows something. He'd shook his head, deciding to worry about that part later.

Artie continued to work on the circuits as they would take in more parts from Havoc and his own astromech. He looked up at Kaylie, "It won't even take off without any repairs."

She stepped into the engine room from her place in the doorway after Havoc stepped out and crossed her arms tenderly over her midsection. "We crashed hard. I didn't presume PT would just fire right back up." Kaylie murmured as she moved over to one of the panels and pulled the cover off of it. The wires were fried and the metal scorched from something. A small fire perhaps. She wasn't sure.

Idly, she moved over to the hyperdrive and a deep frown settled over her features. "We're going to be here a while, Dar....this isn't something that can be fixed in a day." She said with a heavy sigh. How the heck had Havoc managed to 'accidentally' put a hole in the hyperdrive system? Kay wasn't sure she wanted to know.

Without a word, she started working on it, despite how she felt and continued to feel through the whole thing.

["We knew when we had been pushed too far... not only did the heat boil our blood... but so did our rage."]

The trip between the now cannibalized Jedi Starfighter and the YT-1300 took multiple tries. By now, the ship was not able to fly, and was a shell of it's former self. Parts could be clearly seen as missing from the ship, as there were holes and un-occupied spaces of where something appeared to be. Taking off his tunic, Havoc's muscles finally revealed themselves as he continues to bring them into the ship. For a somewhat old man, he kept himself in good shape by the looks of it. Wrapping some thick cord around him, he proceeded to bring it into the engine room. As he entered, he stopped and dropped it on the ground. Looking at Kaylie, he smirked. "How are we looking?"

Darwin looked at Havoc, "What does it look like? We're not out of the woods yet." As the Jedi continued to work on the sublight engines, and Artie was finishing the circuits up. The astromech droid chirped happily, Darwin stared at the droid. "Hey, you got the easy part. Now work your oil up and get over here. Help me fix the engines up." The Jedi looked up at Kaylie, and began speaking once again. "You're supposed to be resting. However, since you're here, mind trying the hyperdrive?"

Kaylie looked at what she was working on when Darwin asked her to try the hyperdrive. it was the hyperdrive. "It's shot...it's gonna need some new coils and plugs...." she sighed. "If we can get just the engines to work, it would take a while, but we could get somewhere to get the hyperdrive replaced...." she said as she looked at it again. "Unless Havoc has some spare parts I can patch it up with. But I'm gonna need alot of electrical tape and some wire to do it."

Her gaze went to Havoc for a moment and she blinked slowly as her gaze raked over his shirtless form. "Do we suddenly have a shirt shortage on this ship? Or was it sacrificed to the greater good of getting PT back up and runnin here?" She joked a little and offered him a half assed smile.

["Whenever we had a down day... it was spent doing equipment maintenance..."]

"Your astromech droid stole it, actually." The Jedi said right off the top, as he glanced at the crew's droid. Nodding some, he looked at Darwin. "If you don't mind, I'll borrow your girlfriend here to determine if we have enough from my Starfighter to patch it up." Turning around, he signaled Kaylie to follow him to his vessel.

Since Dar is on vacation, I'll just go....))

Kaylie blinked a little and looked to Artie. There was no love lost between those two, but it couldn't be said that they did a bad job when they did have to work together. "Well it doesn't surprise me none..." She shrugged a little and Artie bleeped angrily, to which she just ignored.

She pulled herself up and started to follow Havoc. "Dar won't mind, I don't expect." She said, glancing back to the Jedi before she would follow Havoc off of the ship to take a look at his starfighter.

"Hey....I didn't get a chance to thank you....you know....for that help...."

["Sometimes a good deed was too much."]

As they would exit, Havoc would only nod. "Back in the war... death was the only voice that I heard... it was a deadly as ever." Havoc commented as they came to his star fighter that was only a few feet away. He would stop and then turn to her. "Don't mention it." The direction of his head suddenly turned to his star fighter. "Tell me... do we have enough here?"
