A first visit to Coruscant

| The ship lightly shook as it landed on the platform, the engines slowly powering down as Zarcaine looked to his wife and smiled. Kissing her forehead lightly as he gently shook her awake. "Wake up my dear, we're here." He smiled as he looked at his sleeping wife. His hand gently resting on her shoulder as he sat up. A few moments later he heard a knock on the door as he answered. The captain letting them know that they had arrived as he nodded before one of the other crew members brought in some food for them as he thanked them both. The captain and crew member nodding as they left.
Zarcaine walked back to his wife as he smiled and looked at her. He walked over to their closet as he stepped in and looked for something to wear as he let his wife rest a bit more. He looked back to her and smiled, loving her strong spirit as he finished getting dressed. He wanted to take her to the apartment he had on Coruscant first to let her see where she would be living.

| The trip hadn't been a restful one. Amneris was overwhelmed with all of the new things just aboard the ship, seeing as how she had never been on one before. And the fact that she had actually gotten to leave the Cronese Mandate, well that in itself was a treat.
She was already awake when he came in to wake her, but she was still curled up in the warmth of the bed. The only thing she had not liked so far was the fact that space was cold. "I won't be long. Are we there yet?" She smiled a little before she pulled herself out of bed and dressed and fixed her hair. At Zarc's insistence, he had hired her a bodyguard for while they were on Coruscant, and he was already pacing outside of the door.

| Zarcaine touched Amneris' cheek as he smiled at her, gently kissing her lovingly. "We're here my dear." He smiled as he looked at his wife, admiring her form for a moment before he kissed her lovingly again, pulling her to him as he smiled and looked into her eyes. "I love you my dear." He smiled as he held her, kissing her once more as he helped her with the elaborate dress, tying the corset for her as he smiled. "Are you ready to see the apartment my love. Its nothing too big, just a perfect size."
He smiled as he held his wife's hand, kissing the back of her hand as he walked to the door with her. Hitting the small pad next to the door as it opened, the bodyguard already walking back and forth in the hall in his armor as he waited for the two.

| "Sure." She responded as she let her maid (and friend, to be quite honest) lace her into her gown. It wasn't meant to offend Zarc, of course, but he was not built for lacing gowns, and he truly wasn't that good at it. "just give me a few moments and I will meet you down at the shuttle." She said before she sat down and slipped her feet into her shoes.
For the moment, she just needed to breathe and collect her thoughts before they would go, and she would take that few moments before she left the room to follow him.

| Zarcaine stepped out of the room as he let the door shut behind him. Sighing as he looked over to see the bodyguard that Amneris' uncle had sent to keep an eye on her. He nodded as the two of them turned and began to walk down the hall, heading towards the hanger as they approached the shuttle. They both would wait as Zarcaine looked to the doors, waiting for Amneris to show, knowing the other members of the crew would get her down to the shuttle in the hanger.

| It wasn't unlike Amneris to take her time, that was for certain. She also did not like to keep people waiting for too terribly long. Her time at home after her arranged marriage to Zarc had been long and lonely, so she was unused to people waiting on her in order to go places or do things.
A few moments later, she emerged from the room and moved down the hallway at a steady pace before she caught sight of Zarc and who she assumed to be the new guard that her Uncle Darres had sent. He worried too much. Both of them did, actually. He and Zarc turned out to be quite the pair; political dealings to worrying over her. She didn't see the need to fuss really, then again, she had also never left the Cronese Mandate, so she really had no idea what the outside galaxy was like, other than the snippets she read and saw on the news.
"Who is this?" Amneris asked, indicating to the guard. "And where are we going first? To meet this Senator friend of yours, Zarc?"

| Zarcaine looked back as he took Amneris' hand and walked up the ramp and onto the shuttle that was going to take them down to Coruscant. "We can try, I do not know if she has any free time as of yet, but I dont think it would hurt to ask." Zarcaine sat down in one of the chairs in the shuttle craft as Rasuk stepped in behind them, two more guards boarding with the crew of the shuttle as the guards and Rasuk sat in the back with Zarcaine and Amneris.
He looked to the communications officer of the shuttle as he spoke up. "Contact Senator Thanatos and see if she is available to receive us. If not, then see when she is available." The man nodded as a loud thud filled the shuttle, the ramp closing as it began to slowly lift off.

| Rasuk boarded the ship with Zarcaine and Amneris, his eyes on them both as he sat down. Two more guards following him, they would serve as escorts, yet Rasuk would be in charge and was the bodyguard that would be keeping attention on Amneris and her safety, as well as the safety of the child that she carried. His hands came up as he took off the helmet that kept his face hidden. The signs of an Iridonian showing as he set it down, the small horns that covered his head, along with the tattoos that showed on his face. He bowed his head as he spoke. "I am Rasuk Mithren, your Uncle sent me to keep an eye on you while on Coruscant and to make sure you're not harmed."

| A moment of hesitated panic flowed through the girl and she looked between Rasuk, Zarc, and the two other guards. "This is all incredibly unnecessary." She said, a bold statement for her. Speaking out about how she felt about things was something that she normally never did. A trait her mother had taught her was to just let Zarc handle everything for her. Her Uncle Darres was the same. They had made the match, after all.
She sighed and settled down into her seat and took a glance out of the window. The holo had said that it was raining on Imperial Center that day, which was not the way she wanted to see it for the first time. It wouldn't matter much. It wasn't the Cronese Mandate, so it would be something different, despite the rain,and that was what she was excited about.

| "The guards are only here until we arrive at the apartment on world, at that point Mr. Mithren will be taking over all security for the duration of our time spent here." Zarcaine touched Amneris' hand to try and reassure he that it was alright, his eyes on her as he smiled before he felt a tapping on his shoulder, one of the crew handing him a small datapad as he began to look at the pad and sighed before he set it down as he leaned back in the seat and closed his eyes, thinking for a moment as he rubbed his chin before sitting up again as he picked up the datapad and continued to read through it.

| The light pat on her hand was no enough to reassure her, no. In fact, it upset her a little more, though she refused to say anything or show an otward display of emotion. Her gaze followed Zarc as he received the datapad, read it, then read it again. Amneris stared blankly out the window then, letting loose a low sigh. Obviously something was wrong, but she wouldn't ask.
It would be a few moments later that the speeder descended and landed on a small landing pad on one of the highest levels of a skyscraper in the middle of the main city. Immediately nearby she recognized the senate rotunda and the opera house, not to mention the defunct Jedi temple in the distance.

| Rasuk looked to her as he turned to face her and spoke up, his hand resting on the helmet set on the seat next to him. "Dont worry M'Lady, I wont be in your hair too much." He smiled as he looked to the young woman. Rasuk looked back to Zarcaine who nodded to him as he continued to read the datapad, before Rasuk took it and looked at it as he set it down on the table in the middle of the shuttle. When it broke through the cloud cover and set down on the landing pad Rasuk stood up as he smiled to Amneris before pulling his helmet back on.

| "I would hope not, Mr. Mithren." She murmured as she unbuckled her seat belt after the ship touched down onto the landing pad. Her gaze went out the window and she looked at the glass windows and doors that likely led into their new condominium style home. She was used to having a large yard, but not here, it was impossible here. "I've lived in a cage all of my life....and it is time that I start living outside of that. I hope that you can accommodate." Amneris said when she finally turned her gaze back to him. Her Uncle likely would not have been pleased to hear her say that, but she wasn't worried that it would get back to him.

| "Of course Ma'am, I am not here to tell you what not to do, and what to do. I am here to, how did your Uncle put it, break anyone that tries to attempt anything to my lovely niece, his words, not mine Ma'am." Rasuk gave a smile as he looked to Zarcaine who was speaking with one of the aides that had been waiting for him to return along with his wife. The young man nodded as he listened before he headed towards the door as Zarcaine turned and looked to his wife as he approached Amneris and Rasuk. [Zarc] "I've just sent him to speak with the aides of Senator Thanatos to see if she is available for a meeting. If all goes well we should be leaving soon to visit her."

| The first thing that Rasuk and Mr. and Mrs. Kuriyoshi would notice, upon exiting their shuttle, was that they weren't alone on the landing platform; another speeder was there already, its gunmetal paint scheme and Imperial insignia identifying it as the personal speeder of an Imperial official. As if the duo of stormtroopers standing guard on the platform weren't obvious enough. They saluted the Senator as he appeared from inside his shuttle (the salute being something of a formality, since stormtroopers weren't technically under the authority of Imperial Senators except when called for). "I'm sorry to interrupt, Senator," one of them said, "Moff Brandt is here to see you and Mrs. Kuriyoshi. He's waiting inside your apartment, Sir." Beneath his visor, the stormtrooper glared for a long moment at Rasuk Mithren, then returned his attention to the rest of the party.
