| If there was one thing that Zarcaine could pick up on, it was pain. After all those years in service during the Clone Wars, it was easy to tell it from a mere glance. He stood up as he bowed slightly before motioning to Amneris. "I understand. I take it from your changed demeanor that it is very important, and we can leave you to the more pressing matter. I would like to extend the invitation to both you and your husband to join Amneris and I at our home on Chandar in the Cronese Mandate, as we will be expecting a Senator Fowlkes as a guest in the coming weeks. I'm sure that Amneris would enjoy showing our home that she created to you, and the many decorations she has adorned it with."
Zarcaine gave a slight smile as he looked to Amneris and gave a slight nod, letting her know that they'd need to return home, yet he wasn't just gonna lock her away again.

| A slight nod would come from Kal towards the Senator's wife. He wasn't really focused on her at this point, but rather on his own wife. The sadness and other emotions that ran wild inside of her were flooding is mind as well. His head would turn to Lana as she returned to the dining room. He so badly wanted to comfort her and do anything he could for her.
Before he could realize what was going, the Senator stood telling them that they would leave them to deal with this business that Lana needed to deal with. He felt that it was a nice gesture from him.
He, too, would stand up and respond before Lana would be able to, "Thank you for the invitation. We would love to come out and make a visit to your lovely home on Chandar..."
His head would turn to Lana, allowing her to get a word or two in if she was able to.

| Amneris would get to her feet as soon as Zarc nodded to her, and she took his hand. "Oh of course, You are always welcome at our home...at any time." It was a bit redundant to say it like that, but she got her point across. "And thank you so much for your hospitality." She added before she would move away to let them say their goodbyes. It wasn't that she wanted to go, but she did not want to intrude and continue to be oblivious to what was going on. Honestly, she had no clue and hadn't picked up on the fact that the Chandrillian was upset. Instead, she just moved out to wait in the speeder.

| "It is hardly necessary for you to go." She managed to force out. "There is nothing more I can do about this....matter." Except mourn. She needed to mourn. Ilanah forced a small smile and rose to her feet as well, when Amneris did and she watched the young lady leave after she accepted her thanks and invitation to the Cronese Mandate.
"I think that would be a good idea, Senator Zarcaine. Perhaps we can visit when Senator Fowlkes does. He is a very good friend of mine and I would not mind that time with him as well." she said as she reached for Kal and pressed the small crumpled letter into his hand for him to take for her. She didn't want it anymore, anyway. "The four of us can discuss....well...the things that we did not get a chance to talk about tonight." The Senator offered another smile. "But I do thank you for coming by here. It was nice to finally meet you in person." With that, she would start to walk with him to the door if he wanted.

| Zarcaine bowed his head as he walked to the front door with Senator Thanatos. "When you arrive in Cronese Mandate space, I'll make sure that an honor guard will be there to meet and escort you to Chandar." Zarcaine gave a smile as he shook the Senator's hand. "I thank you for your time, and hope that we'll be able to further our conversation in our next meeting. Until then, it was a pleasure." He nodded to each before he walked out the door, walking out to the speeder as he stepped inside and slid into his seat as the door was shut, the driver getting in before the speeder would return both Zarcaine and Amneris to their home on Coruscant.

| He would quickly take the small crumpled letter from Lana as she handed it to him. He didn't really focus on the Senator and his wife leaving, rather on reading over the letter, trying to really find out what happened to make her suddenly change. His eyes would skim over the letter, reading it and he too feel into a sort of shock from the news, even though he wasn't familiar with the person that it referred to.
Just as soon as they had left their home, Kal would crumple the letter, tossing it aside and approaching Lana, asking, "Are you alright? You can let it out..."

| She was standing at the door, just looking out into the rainy night as the speeder pulled away. "I don't like this anymore......" Ilanah murmured when he spoke to her. Jules death brought back all of those old feelings that she had managed to suppress when Adoven disappeared. He had to have known it would have been hard on her, to get news like that, and she was trying not to show how difficult it was.
It wasn't that she couldn't cry or break down, she didn't want to do that to Kal, or make him worry about her and the baby any more than he already did. And she wanted to break down, it had to have felt better than how she was feeling now.
She was sure that it would take some time....
