Once they arrived at her new ship, she glanced to Tremaine, after Kal had planted a kiss on her forehead and he had wandered off to the cockpit. "I have a small conference room on board. Follow me." She said as she went up the ramp of the ship. Ilanah peeled her coat off and tossed it onto one of the chairs in the lounge and smoothed her hands over the stomach of her gown before she went to the concealed rooms door and put the code into the hidden keypad. The door would slide open and she stepped inside and moved in so that Tremaine could follow.

Ilanah settled down into one of the comfortable leather chairs as she looked to her friend. "We do have some things to talk about, don't we? Do you want to start?" She asked as she leaned back a little.

The Telosian would go ahead and follow Lana inside her ship. He didn't bring any coat, so he didn't toss it anywhere. Then the Senator would spot that Senator Thanatos had a hidden compartment within the shuttle, he grinned slightly at that. It was probably her Inquisitor husband's idea. No matter, he went ahead and followed her into the room. Senator Fowlkes wasn't in mood to sit down, so he decided to lean his back against the wall.

"Indeed, we do. First of all, let me say I'm sorry for your loss." He was referring to Jules, "We weren't informed that an Imperial task force would be heading for Molavar, thus we had to force ourselves to evacuate before it was too late to do so. Again, I'm sorry for your loss but casualties are to be expected in war. Since the battle there, we have been having positive progress toward the resistance. We have established a new base of operations and a couple more outposts. The numbers within the Libs have been expanding, and the spy network have been established throughout the galaxy. We had successfully defeated a small band of Imperials. I would say that after a step back, we managed to make a couple of steps forward."

He stopped speaking, waiting for his good friend to respond.

She found herself a bit stunned when he expressed his sympathies in regards to Jules. The Senator had pushed the situation out of her thoughts for the meeting, and when Tremaine spoke, it ht her all over again. "Its tragic, indeed." She started as she shifted in the seat. "I've hired a more than suitable replacement, though she will not be doing what Jules did. I was hoping that you would not mind me using Mika for those purposes. " Ilanah said.

She was pleased with the progress he had made wth the rebellion, and she felt like she had done nothing to help it along. Suddenly, she remembered that she had. "In fact, I have a delivery for Mika and a few of your best pilots to retrieve. "She said. Ilanah dug through her work bag and pulled out a small flimplast sheet with a list of ships she had procured from Hunter Krandor. "I know....I should have asked you first, but, there was no time. And I think his man can be more than trusted."

After she handed the list and the rendezvous location to Tremaine, she relaxed in the seat again. She only had one more thing to tell her friend but she wasn't sure how to do it. Just blurting it out seemed to be the best plan so far. "Tremaine...uh...I know you are wary of Kal. I understand that....and he will prove to you that he is genuine when the opportunity arises. " she paused and took a breath. "We're having a baby." Ilanah said, watching him closely.

"And before you even say it....you are not stopping me from helping or putting me on the back burner. I am not helpless or incapable....alright? This just...makes this freedom we are fighting for that much more important."

"Well, it will make her busier than she already is but I'm sure she will be fine with that." The Telosian gave Lana his approval of using Mika, which would make things a little simpler. It would help the Chandrilan be kept in the loop, even if Tremaine was too busy to tell her. Sometimes, it takes a long while for both of them to see each other again. This would save both some time, and feed the information twice as fast to the Libs. This makes their rebellion even more effective when intel comes in much faster.

The Senator immediately took the sheet with a list of ships his good friend had managed to acquire for the Libs. He simply nodded at her, "Good work, Lana." That was all he was going to say about Lana's acquisitions of ships. There wasn't much that needed to be said, anyway. If the resistance could get more ships, no questions needed to be asked really. He would make a mental note of sending a message to Mika in order to retrieve those ships as soon as possible. It would be needed in their next campaign.

He quickly pondered on the issues he needed to discuss with Lana, that is before he got hit blind-sided. Not literally, of course. Tremaine had never trusted Kal from the day he met the guy. Even more so when his good friend told him that the guy was an Inquisitor. She had reassured him that it was a cover, but he studied about Jedi and Sith long enough to know that the dark side isn't easy to resist. It didn't help when the Inquisitor could have taken her out of the picture. This time, it was a good thing...for Lana herself.

"Hey, if you're pregnant, you shouldn't be in such a dangerous role. War brings a lot of stress. Stress wouldn't be good for the baby. I both appreciate and admire your persistence, but I don't want to put you in a position where you could jeopardize the baby's life. If the Empire finds out you're a rebel, they won't care about the baby. I just don't want to see you get hurt."

Immediately, she shook her head. "I am going to be fine, we are going to be fine, and you are not doing anything that is jeopardizing either of us. I promise. Kal and I talked about this....I am not stopping lead this thing Tremaine." She said as she shifted her weight in her chair again. "I am going to be more careful though, I promise. No overdoing it." Ilanah pulled herself up to her feet and paced along the side of the table in the small conference room.

"And I am going to be spending more time on Chandrila, less on Coruscant and less travelling. That's the best thing for me to do I think." She said before she pushed her fingers through her sleek, dark locks. She would look to her friend. "And they won't find out. Alright?" She said as she moved around the table to him. There was no way she would back down on this, and he knew how stubborn she could be.

"What else do we need to discuss? And I want to talk to you about my new aide, also."

The Telosian would let out a loud sigh, showing that he was giving in a little bit. "Alright, if you think you won't overdo yourself. As long as you don't, I'm going to be fine with that. Even if you were, I doubt you would tell me. I'll make sure Kal watch over you, even though I don't trust him." He made no attempt in hiding the fact that he didn't trust the Inquisitor. The moment Kal turns on Ilanah, it is all over for everyone involved in the Libs. Tremaine was quick to move to a different topic. Lana's pregnancy shouldn't be one of the issues that takes some discussion, and he wouldn't insult her by doing so.

The Senator cleared his throat before speaking, "Well, we need a public speaker for the Libs to bolster our recruitment process. The Libs are also putting a couple different campaigns together. One to free the Hapans from Kessel, Anaxes, and Vjun. One to coordinate with Shiva's Separatists to attack the Imperials at Telos IV. Which one do you want to discuss first?" He was pretty sure that two out of three issues Tremaine brought up would bring some unease to his good friend, but he had to discuss it with her anyway.

Ilanah sighed and sank back into a seat. "Alright....a public voice...." She tried to relax. "I hired a new assistant. Seraphine Leroy. She used to work for Mical DeCrion. I really....don't want to put her in danger and I would love to keep her here to help me, but do you think she would be better suited for the Libs?" Silently, she hoped Tremaine would say no, and that Seraphine needed to stay with her in Senate, but she would agree to whatever he thought was best.

She listened quietly to the rest of what he said. "What is your plan to rescue the Hapans?" She asked as she sat up a little. "And what will we do for them after that?" She hoped that there were not many casualties, but as he said, casualties were a part of war.

"The attack on Telos IV bothers me still, Tremaine. I am not sure I understand why it has to be Telos. And are you going to be there when it happens?" Mostly, she was worried for her friend and for his people.

He chuckled lightly, seeing how a coincidence could have been working into their favor. "The funny thing is, former Senator Crion was on the shortlist. I think he'd be the best person to be the voice of reason. Although I am unsure to whether he would support an armed resistance that oppose the Empire. You already lost Jules, I'm not going to have you lose Leroy too." The Senator knew fully well a public voice would be a risky move, so he had to have an insurance policy in place for the public speaker.

"As you might know, Kessel is a prison world. It's going to be tough getting them out, we're still trying to come up with the best plan as we speak now. After we have rescued them, we will have to find them a suitable relocation. Only then, they'd be willing to talk about an alliance. We need as many allies as we can get in the fight against the Empire." Tremaine was a soldier, he was used to casualties of war which shouldn't happen but does to a lot of soldiers. It doesn't mean he's completely insensitive to the subject, though. It still hits him when someone he knows gets killed, like the attack at Molavar.

"The only reason I agreed to it was because it would get the suspicions off me for the time being. I made sure that we don't allow civilian casualties. Of course, I won't be there but I will publicly condemn the attack after it has happened."

Ilanah thought over it for several long moments as he finished speaking about everything. She had an idea, but she knew Tremaine would resist. "Then Seraphine and I should go to see Mr. DeCrion. I've wanted to meet him for some time now." Ilanah said as she straighten herself up in the seat. "And who better to convince him than the two of us?" she said.

"As for the Hapans..." Ilanah paused for a moment and smoothed her hands over her skirting of her gown. "I am not sure what good I would be with helping get them out. The ships should help though, I hope. I just wish that there was more that I could do." She felt so badly for them, being treated the way that they were. It upset and angered the Senator. "If you think of anything though, please let me know."

The Senator was so uneasy about the impending attack on Telos IV. She had never been there herself, but her best friend was from there. She was sure that he would have felt the same if this was going to happen on Chandrila. "I will make sure that I set up a fund to help any accidental victims and to repair damage..."

Quite the contrary, Tremaine wouldn't resist...much. He kept his arms crossed, "I would suggest that Miss Leroy go see him alone, but if you think you can find a way to get to him without anyone finding out about it then sure. You keep your Inquisitor with you in case something goes wrong. I'll also have a strike team hidden and standing by nearby from wherever you're meeting him. Just let me know when you're meeting with him."

The Senator smiled slightly toward Ilanah, "Don't worry about the Hapans. I will take care of it. I'm sure our men can get them out. Hapans may be traditionally isolated, but they're going to be useful allies. I'm sure of it."

He nodded at his good friend, "Sure, I appreciate that. If there isn't anything else..." Tremaine implied that he was ready to leave, but he'd stay if there was anything more to be said. He had tons of things to do as a rebel, as a Senator, and as a businessman.

She sighed and pulled herself to her feet. He would be able to tell that she was pregnant, though she had done her best to keep it hidden with her positions and a shawl when they were at the Kuriyoshis. "Tremaine...." she started, pausing for a moment. "He's my husband. An Inquisitor because I was so, so stupid.....he's here to help us. Me, and you. I know you don't want to accept that, but please try." She pleaded with her friend.

Ilanah moved over and rested her hands on his arms that were crossed over his chest. "For me? Please?" She murmured. Despite what she asked, she could tell he was anxious to go.

"No, theres nothing else." She said. "But promise it won't be so long between meetings, alright?" Ilanah smiled and hugged him, whether he wanted to or not, before he would leave.

He tilted his head and let his sigh out loudly, and looked at his good friend. "It's not his help that I don't want. It's that I don't trust him. He's an Inquisitor. Inquisitors are known to betray people. For your sake, I will let the reins loosen up a little bit. He is your responsibility. The minute you cannot keep him under control or the minute he shows a sign of betrayal...I will have no choice but to send someone to deal with him. Understand?" His tone completely changed, showing his demeanor.

He doesn't usually use that tone, unless it was absolutely necessary. He was putting the survival of the Libs before his good friend's husband. He had to, with a very good reason. That was the moment he simply left the ship and headed for his own shuttle before it departed Chandaar for his next series of business trips.
