| After splitting from Havoc, and retrieving supplies on Telos IV, the light freighter was traveling in hyperspace. Former Commander Sky wanted to go search for his old buddy, by the name of Jace Varitek. His Jedi friend is a hard man to find, and it didn't help when there has been virtually no trace of him anywhere. Darwin was operating under assumption that the man is hiding within the Outer Rim. That's where he had been for several years before bumping into Kaylie.
The Former Commander had left Artie to supervise the ship controls, while Kaylie must have gone off upgrading the ship as usual. Darwin decided continuously hone his talent at lightsaber form of fighting. Training for both against blasters that would come from stormtroopers and bounty hunters, and against lightsabers such as those from the Inquisitorus. There was a training droid to help a little bit, but he knew it can only last him for so long.

| The job she had been sent on was not the simple little grab and drop that Rall had said it would be, and she was furious about that. The ship Cassia had brought to Christophsis had been damaged to the point that she could not repair it. A true mechanic would need to look at it. So for the moment, she was trapped on the planet, hiding in an abandoned building until she could either steal another ship, or get help.
Unfortunately, the separatist remnant she had run into, a group that had no love lost for Valin Rall, was making it impossible for her to find a ship, let alone steal one. Cassia chose the better option, and sent up an encrypted distress signal in hopes that someone who either didn't hate Rall, or who didn't care either way would hear it. It didn't help that the planet was also under Imperial control. If nothing else, whoever answered the distress call could prove to be a distraction so that she could escape and get far enough to procure a vessel and get off of that planet. By that point, she was just tired of being shot at.

| Shortly after the distress signal was broadcasted, it didn't take long for the freighter to pick it up. A loud series of urgent beeping from Artie would ring across the entire ship. This caused Darwin to drop his training session with the training droid, not that he hated stopping it. The Jedi deactivated his lightsaber and placed it on the belt. A few moments of running would take him to the cockpit. Artie sent out a series of chirping, indicating that it was a distress signal.
Darwin went on sitting down on the pilot chair, looking at the signal and studying the frequency for a moment. It didn't take him long before he recognized it. He turned to look at the astromech, "It's a Separatist code." The Padawan had let out a heavy sigh, wondering whether he should assist the person calling for help. What if it was a trap? He decided to look at the source of distress signal. It was located at Christophsis. So it would make sense for a Separatist to try and revive their cause on a former Confederate world.
Darwin would not say anything, but to drop the ship out of hyperspace to dial in a new set of coordinates. It would then take about three minutes before the hyperdrive is ready. The YT-1300 would enter back into hyperspace en route to Christophsis. He knew it wouldn't be easy trying to rescue someone deep in Imperial territory, with several stormtroopers and perhaps a few Inquisitors. He hoped that his gamble would be worthwhile.

| The worst part about the whole situation was that it was supposed to have been simple. No. The worst part was the searing blaster wound that had cut through her shoulder. No. The worst part was that she couldn't get off the damn planet. But, if she did, she decided that Rall would get exactly what she got, only she would have liked to have shot him clear through the head. There was no way she could have done that though, it was just her anger.
Cassi had bandaged the wound to the best of her ability, applying bacta patches from the first aide kit she had salvaged from her damaged ship. And she was biding her time, waiting until there was enough distraction for her to steal another ship or hop a transport off of the planet, but for now, she had to wait because she was still being looked for.

| About a twenty minutes' trek would have a sound of beeping going off once again. Only this time, it wasn't so urgent. The Jedi took the ship out of hyperspace, above the orbit of Christophsis. It was going to be interesting to see why a Jedi would want to help a Separatist. The answer to that would come in time. Darwin couldn't risk opening a transmission, even a secured one, at least not yet. Even if the Empire did not pick up what he might have said to this Sep, they would see a connection trace between both of them and pinpoint it upon his light freighter.
After requesting a landing clearance, it was granted after a couple minutes of waiting. Good thing the alias he uses in the ownership of this ship would show he was a small-time businessman, that it wouldn't be hard to see he was picking up a specific numbers of supplies. Darwin continued to maintain his appearance of a smuggler. The black pants with broken yellow lining running down both sides of he pant. To go with that, a white t-shirt and a dark blue jacket.
The ship would descend toward the atmosphere, heading for a hangar bay located in the capital city. He would call out to Kaylie, "Suit up, and don't forget to bring our pistol. We have a mission to do." Rescuing a Separatist kinda brought the Jedi back to the old days of the Clone Wars where he had to rescue a Jedi and a few clones a couple of times. Of course, he typically he had another Jedi and a squad of clone troopers to back him up. This time around, it's going to be just Kaylie and Artie backing him up. The ship had landed, and he reminded himself to put the lightsaber back into an inside pocket behind the layer of jacket chest-level.
Former Commander would order Artie to stay and guard the ship, maintaining that the astromech might have to fly the ship to them should trouble arise. The droid beeped with disapproval, but consented. He turned around and walked out of the cockpit, and got into the main galley. Grabbing a portable tracking device, configuring it to concentrate on the source of distress signal, "Kay, you ready?"

| When Darwin yelled, Kaylie cracked her head on the beam she was working under as she went to sit up. "Ow son of a...." She rubbed her forehead and checked her hand to see if there was any blood there. There was, and her hand was covered in the red substance. "Perfect." Kay said before she slid out from beneath the beam and then dragged herself out from beneath the floor through the flooring panel she had moved.
"Yeah just a minute, alright!" She retorted as she walked down the hall, keeping her hand pressed to the cut across her forehead. Kay took a minute to check it in the mirror and saw it wasn't bad. It only took a few minutes for her to clean the cut up and bandage it before she pulled her jacket on and grabbed the blaster Darwin had given her and she holstered it to her thigh.
"Yeah, yeah what's the problem now? Where are we and what are we doing?" Kay said as she met him in the main galley.

| Darwin was all set to go, when he looked at Kaylie and saw the small cut on her forehead. He frowned slightly at that. "You were startled ny me again, weren't you?" The Jedi lightly shook his head, "I'll help you with that later. Looks like you have that cut taken care of." He would keep the tracking device in his right hand, and walked past his most trusted companion on the way to the landing ramp that were touching the ground.
Only then he would speak to her, "Don't get mad, but we're on a planet called Christophsis. I'm not sure if you know this, but it was the site of a major battle between the Republic and the Confederacy more than ten years ago. Coincidentally, a Separatist-coded distress signal was sent and I picked it up. Now we're gonna get the Sep then get the hell out of here." Walking down the ramp, he pondered about retrieving a crystal for his lightsaber, but knew that if he did so, he risk being exposed as a Jedi.

| She reached up and rubbed her forehead when he said something about her cut. "I didn't expect you to yell, no big deal." She said. "Just a little cut." Kaylie shifted her weight as she waited for the ramp to lower and Darwin to explain to her what they were going to be doing.
"...Are you kidding!? It's an Imperial planet and you are going after a Sepratist? Why not just put up a billboard announcing you're still alive, Dar!" It wasn't really anger, she was just freaking out about what was going to happen. "Let's hurry the hell up and get this over with then....and hope that we don't die."

| "Hush! No yelling around here. As long as we remain a low profile, we will be fine. Besides, we're going to need allies sooner or later. Let's go." The Jedi continued walking, away from the ship and toward the exit. He reached down to ensure there was a comlink attached to his belt. It was. The sights of crystaline formations would appear all over the place. Darwin quickly looked back down at the device, "This way." He turned left, onto one of the less trafficked streets.
He had hoped thy wouldn't run into much resistance, but the closer he is to the distress signal more likely the pair is going to run into stormtroopers.

| Kaylie gave him a glare when he told her to hush. She hadn't been yelling so much as emphasizing how bad of an idea this was. "Whatever, Dar. Let's get this over with." She said as she followed him down the ramp and kept an eye on the beacon. There was nothing good that would come out of this. A separatist was not an ally in her mind.
Once they were closer she started seeing patrolling stormtroopers in pairs, sometimes quads, strolling the streets. "Oh good....should we make small talk?" She asked, sarcastically, before she looked down at the screen to see how far they were. Only a few blocks now.

| He doesn't trust Separatists much neither, but they are an enemy of the Empire. In his mind, it is better to be allied to someone that has experience in fighting against the Empire. It may not be the tip of the sword, but it would make a difference. Then he spotted the stormtroopers appearing everywhere. He chuckle slightly at Kaylie, "Actually, that's not a bad idea. Just follow my lead."
The Jedi looked into the device, and pretend it was a datapad. "Oh man, how am I ever gonna be prepared for my presentation?" He was talking like a businessman getting ready to sell a product. He would continue walking, getting past a few of the stormtroopers.

| "Oh....I was kidding." She said, but he was already on his way towards the troopers. Kylie was cautiously optimistic that this plan would work, let alone get the past the troopers. She just let him do the talking and pretended to be along for the ride.
So far it worked. Once they were past the pair, Kay glanced over at the receiver. "Looks like its coming from that building just ahead. I wonder why no ones picked up on it yet....?" She said, mostly rhetorical.

| The Jedi chuckled at Kaylie. "The Empire probably already picked it up. I'll bet they're just waiting for someone to rescue the Separatist so they can catch more fish. Just be careful, Kay." Darwin would proceed to enter into the entrance, looking left and right. Then he handed Kay the tracking device for her to keep an eye on. Then the Jedi went to draw the lightsaber out, but it wasn't activated yet. The hilt were merely resting on his left hand.
If there are any stormtroopers between the pair and the Sep, he'd take care of them.

| Cassi was holed up on one of the upper floors of the building, though it was only a few stories high. She had rigged up the door so that as soon as Darwin opened the door, some can would fall and make enough noise for her to hear. As she heard the clatter, Cassi jumped to her feet and grabbed her blaster with her good hand before she started to stalk slowly down the stairs. Based solely on her posture and demeanor, it was obvious that she had some military or police training of some kind.
The lift in the building didn't work, so if the ones who entered wanted to really find her, they would have to come upstairs and she would shoot without hesitation if need be.

| As soon as the cans clattered to the floor of the abandoned lobby, Kylie blinked. "Oh this ain't gonna go well." She moved off from Dar and started to search the few rooms on the first floor, but it was mostly just open lobby space. It was a futile search, she knew, but she tried anyway.
"So what's the plan, Dar? " Kylie asked as she stood in the middle of the filthy, run down room.
