The recent disturbances, only a day past, had left Qatamer in shock. The bloodthirsty tales of both Stark's supposed supporters and those who supported Lennon had been circulating already and Stark's public relations team had already swept in to minimize what damages they could, showing distance between Samuel B'Stard's group and families. Stark presumed that Lennon was doing the same with the young man who'd stood for him. Stark couldn't recall the man's name offhand though. Camper? Campson? Something like that. Either way, the Police Force patrols had been increased near Lennon's headquarters to ensure the man had his peace and privacy. Stark didn't want to see the man come to harm, after all.

At the moment, Stark had disguised himself once again, largely to gain some peace and quiet as he wandered the hot streets of Qatamer, seeking refuge and solace at last in one of the domed buildings that housed a miniature forest, kept safe from the harsh climate of Lorrd. The public path was empty, and the great three-stories building was silent but for the sounds of the imported insects that helped to pollinate the park. Stark climbed to the second tier, taking a seat that was back from the solid concrete railings and relaxed under the deeper shade of a weeping willow, letting his mind rest. Forty or fifty paces away, Larna Mosset, one of his Shadowguard, kept a respectful distance and a watchful eye. The red-haired Malkii female was one of the less publicly seen of his personal guards, in addition to being his best cook. By and large, her combat skills were neither the grandest nor the most impressive, but her forte went well with her cooking skill: a poisoner's touch.

As he let his mind wander, Stark's thoughts drifted back to Ana on Naboo, where she awaited him. She would be safe, he knew, between the watchful care of Artemis Vanden and two of his trusted Shadowguard. How he missed her though! If she were at his side, it would make the entire political storm so much easier to weather. For a long moment, he considered sending for her, but he did not want her to have to deal with this, for undoubtedly Lennon would make her a target of his attacks as well.

Cassia Darcy had decided that Lorrd was not her favorite place in the galaxy. The climate was harsh, but the job she had decided to do would be worth it. Alyn Stark, Lord of the Kinyov province, was such a sweet target. She knew that there was going to be security, tight security especially with the political uprising that was currently happening on Lorrd. Aside from that, she knew that Alyn Stark was a stickler for security, or so she had seen over the past few days. He had the latest in weapons, and the deadliest in guards.

That is why is surprised her when she saw him, despite his attempt at disguise (she had been stalking, after all), with only one guard. One female, who looked to be as easily snapped as a twig, but was likely deadly. Nothing Cass couldn't handle, she was sure. Silently, she slipped through the door of the dome and took a side path, where she could still watch the redhead at the very least. Her plan was non-existant. she didn't like plans, as they rarely worked out. This time was no exception.

Once Alyn settled himself elsewhere, Cassia wandered out onto the main path and neared the woman, with the pretense that she was just a tourist.

Stark was still lost in thought, as things went. The strands of the weeping willow blocked a clear view of the path and his thoughts of Ana had him placed in a more distracted state than he usually was. For anyone who truly knew Stark, this would have been a practical impossibility. Nonetheless, he found his mind wandering towards her more often than not. It would almost be worth it to abandon the political dealings upon Lorrd to be with her. If anything, it was certain issues that prevented him from doing such; his loyalty to House Malos, his desire to seek out his father and his wish to see the people of Lorrd politically happy, which they had been until Lennon began spreading trouble.

Larna Mosset took brief note of the solitary female who approached her position and moved aside to free up the path. She seemed unarmed and looked the part of a visiting tourist; possibly a student, so while a peripheral gaze was kept on the woman, Larna's majority attention went back to scanning the area.

Cassi did have something clutched in her hand, but upon closer inspection it would be easily recognized as a map of the domed garden area. She had thought that would make her look more natural there, but her clothing would stand out, as would her rather exotic look. She adjusted the collar of her sleek leather jacket with her fingertips before she approached the red head.

"I've not been here." She commented casually, striking up conversation. Of course what she wouldn't notice would be the weapon holstered at the small of her back, and then the one strapped to her ankle, both rather standard blasters. "Which path is the nicest, do you know?" Cassi would unfold the map to share, if she would care to take a look.

Larna was not a fan of blasters under most situations; she did, however, have a quartet of vibroblades about her person that she was proficient with. Her method of killing though was usually undertaken via the poisons she could inject, coat her blades with or send on their way with the specialized ASN-121 droids she favored. Figuring her blades were within easy reach, Larna appraised the approaching female, figuring it didn't hurt to make a little conversation. Hopefully this tourist wasn't a real pain. Moving slightly at an angle to the woman, Larna glanced down at the unfolding map. "I've been here a number of times. It's quite nice, actually, and I can show you a path or two."

"That would be nice, actually." Cassi said, looking right at the woman. "How about this one?" She pointed to one on the map that looked very secluded. After all, she didn't want Stark to hear anything. If it happened, however, it happened. "Would that be this way?" Cassi pointed in a direction and encouraged her to walk, just keeping a step behind and to the side of her.

"Hope I'm not keeping you or interrupting anything. thanks."

Watching the map, Larna did not fully consider the implications of the woman who'd dropped back a step as she accepted the map, walking a few paces down the path ahead of the tourist. "Yes, I do believe that this path her will take you along a scenic route." Her brow furrowed as she focused on the map for a moment. Damned tourists. They could read a map just as well as anyone else could. "I'm just out sightseeing myself, actually." A faint warning feeling began to chime in the back of her brain, not quite a reason but a sixth sense and she paused, preparing to turn and ask a few questions.

Cassi unholstered one of the two blaster pistols and would move to crack her at the base of the skull with the butt of the weapon. If the woman would turn too fast, the weapon would be trained right between her eyes. Cassi wasn't aiming to kill, just disable, but she wouldn't rule out killing if necessary.

"So kind to show a perfect stranger around. Trusting. It's amusing." She murmured, with a small bit of a frown hanging on her features.

Cassia was partially successful with her plan, but wholly successful with the strike. Larna Mosset had only began to turn her head when the heavy weapon crashed against her and all vanished into darkness. Her unconscious form fell nearly silently into the thick ferns by the side of the path, though from where she lay she'd be easily spotted from the path. This, however, meant that Stark was in a rare, unprotected form, still being lost in thought over his beloved and not noticing the byplay going on.

Cassi quickly re-holstered the blaster and pushed the girl the rest of the way off of the path before she straightened up and smoothed her hands over her jacket. Stark. She needed to be focused now. The path wound around and up into the second level, which she made her way quickly to.

Her approach would be silent, hands folded behind her back as she moved closer to his left side.. "Lord Alyn Stark..." She said, sarcastically, once again drawing the blaster, and this time aiming it at him. "Not exactly who I wanted, but you'll do. For now."

Stark froze at the sound of an unfamiliar female voice. The method of address caused him to turn his head slightly, seeing the fully drawn and aimed blaster. Carefully keeping his hands behind his head, Stark considered his options for the moment, which weren't terribly great. He cursed the fact that he'd been caught unawares and simultaneously thanked the fact that outside his Shadowguard, nobody truly knew his unarmed prowess, for all the good it would do in this situation.

"And what can I do for you Miss...? I'm afraid I don't know your name."

"Not sure that my name is something you should -really- be worried about right now, Stark." She snapped, maintaining a good enough distance, but sticking close enough that she could shoot him easily if needed.

"I actually wasn't here looking for you....but you'll do. Especially if you tell me what I need to know."

A good enough distance was a relative factor, especially for Stark. For Stark, able to throw a knife a good fifteen or twenty feet with extreme accuracy, the possibility did exist that could bring a knife to a gunfight. "It seems you know me but I don't know you," he kept that easy, arrogant manner that was also a form of calm as he slowly lowered his hands from behind his head to his knees. He lacked his armorweave cape and openly carried no blaster, as he was often known to do. "What can I help you with, precisely?"

"Ana Riley, actually. I would much prefer to speak with her, and since she isn't glued to your arm like she has been all over the holos, I imagine you've sent her away for what? Safe keeping? Or did you get bored? Either way, I need her, and yours going to tell me where she is.". Cassi said, keeping her finger on the trigger.

"How does that plan sit with you?"

"Ana?" Stark asked, sounding surprised. Inside though, he had to make a split-second decision. This woman couldn't possibly mean anything good for Ana, which left Stark protecting Ana for as much as he could. "She's just flown in to Castle Stark. I don't see why you need her, but if you'd like me to fetch her, I can do so." That was right, act like the spoiled aristocrat. Lure her in more. Once she was close enough, then Stark could make his move, but for now, calm, patience.
