| "It is a large undertaking, my love, but far from impossible, and I'm quite sure a team could be put together to locate and disarm mines." Stark nodded again, taking her quite seriously. "It would require an aid team of sorts, experts in explosive ordnance disposal and the funding, as well as a public face. I can easily have a team put together comprised of experts and people within their field. You would be the best public face for this that I can imagine.

| "Oh. I don't know about that, Alyn....maybe." She said in response. "I'm sure a good PR person wouldn't be hard to come across." Truthfully, it made her somewhat nervous to do, which was why she had always been quite happy with her quiet life on Naboo, and did not further her career in politics. Ana would, however, try this a least.
"Youre very....just....thank you. This will be good for your image too, you know. Alon with Galactic Aide.". Ana said as she relaxed some and turned her gaze to him.
"Now tell me, what can I do to help you with what's going on here?" She asked, offering him a small smile. "I don't want you to be stressed."

Stark gave her a comforting smile, then stood to look out over the great expanse of nature. From this distant peak, he could almost see the lights of Qatamer at night. "I am not sure, Ana. Speak with the people, perhaps? The do not know what to understand; the truth I place before them or the constant lies thrown into their faces by Lennon's media."

| Ana moved up behind him and slid her arms around his waist, resting her chin on his shoulder. "I will do anything that will help you. You know that, right?" She asked, sighing softly. "Is it strange for you? To have someone care so much? It is for me, I admit. Artemis cared, but not like this." Ana wasn't very sure she was making sense, but in her mind, it was perfectly clear.
"But instead of speaking....maybe I could write a letter. I might be better at putting my thoughts into words that way.". She said, looking for his approval. "just a suggestion."
"We can talk about something else if you like. I saw that the news was reporting our engagement today...."

| "It is strange," he admitted after a moment. "It's been a long time since someone actually cared. Most people are either exploitative or too jealous to be truly trusted, and one can only have guards care for someone so much." Her words did make sense, and for Stark, alone at his pinnacle for so long, it was a strange feeling at times; strange, but enjoyable. "A letter? A letter to the people? Or to me?
"We don't have to change the topic, my love. I am open with you about everything that I can be. And indeed," he smiled, "Our engagement is official now."

| "To the people. You I have no problem speaking to, multitudes....that is another story." Shr said with a sigh. "I can do it though, if you really think its best." Ana said, despite her hesitation. "It is going to happen sooner or later. Unless you're willing to elope, but I am going to guess that Mrs. Miteya is already knee deep in plans, meaning I am going to have to say my vows in front of a lot of people....or learn sign language really,really fast." Ana joked to him, tryin to lighten the mood some.
Something he said did make her curious though. "What do you mean....you're open with me about everything you can be? You can tell me anything...."

| "My love, I will never place you in a situation in which you must feel uncomfortable. If you wish to address the people, then that is something I will back you in. As for eloping, I fear that's out of the question." Stark laughed and shook his head, watching her eyes. "Sign language, eh? Well, I suppose I can teach you a bit of the kinetic language. It's not too difficult to grasp, once you've practiced it a while.
"As it stands though, some things I cannot share. State secrets. Military plans, matters of state. Things like that I must keep confidential largely because of my position."

| Ana shook her head. "I'll be fine, I was simply teasing." She said as she leaned against the railing and looked up at Alyn. "But anyway, I will say something. Your people need to know that I support you, yes?" Ana asked before she glanced over her shoulder briefly, into the darkness that had fallen.
"I don't care about state secrets and things....I only meant that -you- can tell me anything. Promise you won't keep secrets from me,alright? And I won't keep them from you."

I believe it will hearten them to see that my future wife, a woman of Naboo who worked with the well-known and respected Artemis Vanden is willing to back me as well." He paused, thinking over his words. "I do not wish to make you feel as if I am exploiting you politically though.

| "You're not exploiting me. Though I am afraid these people might try and make it seen as such. Are you?" She mused as she tuned her full attention back to him. "I will write something tonight, either way, if you trust me." She knew that he did.
"Anyway, there is a woman on Naboo who wants to make my dress, and I told her she could. I hope that's alright. I don't care what else get planned, unjust want to make sure that she gets to do that for me." Ana smiled warmly, changing the subject.

| "No, Ana, I'd never exploit you, especially for something as cheap as political gain. They may try to make it seem as such, but it would not be the truth." Moving away for a moment to sip from a glass of water that was on the table, Stark spoke again. "Much to the chagrin of Lorrdian dressmakers, I fear, but I have no issue upon where your dress comes from, my dear. As long as you are happy wearing it and with the results, then I am equally pleased."

| Ana smiled some. "Mrs. Mityea and whomever can handle every other arrangement that needs to be done if they want. I've just known this woman my entire life...she's always made dresses for me, so I would like to stick with her. I hope it doesn't upset anyone." She said, thoughtfully before she moved back over and sat down in the seat she had been in earlier.
"I am sure everything will be perfect no matter what." She mused as she watched Alyn. "The wedding itself isn't the important part though."

| "You're right, the wedding itself is not as important as the fact that we love one another. Your dress though, I am sure will not be an issue." It bothered Stark to have to lie to her, to keep her in the dark about certain activities he undertook. However, he also felt that to tell her would drive her away from him; she was too kind and gentle and would not understand why he did what he did.
