| Stark read over the words of the datapad, keeping a serious face as he considered what she'd written and sent out. When he was done reading, he put the datapad down with a thoughtful expression on his face. "You know, love, that might have been just the thing to earn you the respect and trust of the people. It was well written, and I daresay while some might try to cast aspersions, the majority will back you."

| Ana shook her head. "That was not why I wrote it, Alyn. It was to support you. Yes, I want the people to like me, love me even, as much as they love you, but I was concerned for you first and foremost." She said, frowning for only a moment. It had been, in her mind, a selfless act to show how good of a man she thought he was and would always be.
"They needed to know that the person you are marrying supports you. And cares about them, of course." Ana said as she leaned back in her seat again.

| "Well it is certainly good to know you support me, as well as care about the people my love." Stark hugged her tightly for a moment. "So I noted you mentioned that our future children will be Lorrdians. Any of those in our near future?" He meant the comment as a joke though.

| Ana looked up at him and smiled slightly before nodding. "Well it's the truth. I do...care about them and you and your career. Naboo will always be home, but my future is here." She said.
"Well they will, won't they? Be Lorrdians? Or dual citizens, likely, but still...." She said softly, stalling some. "I didn't realize when I wrote that how near in the future I was actually talking about...." she had prepared for the worst; anger or yelling, maybe storming off on his part.

| Stark cocked his head to the side as she disseminated. It was obvious there was something there and... ah, that was what it was. Giving her steady look, he asked her, "Would that be your way of saying you're with child, my dear? Or are we intending to have one sooner rather than later?" There was a small smile on his face now as he awaited her response.

| "I hadn't intended on any of this, Alyn....so it's really as much of a surprise to me as it is to you." She murmured, finally meeting his gaze. Ana was quite nervous, so much so that she was starting to feel queasy from the worry of it all.
"I'm so sorry. I know it's too soon and maybe we aren't ready for this. I mean....I have to make sure your people like me before I morph from gold digger to 'she got pregnant on purpose to force him into marrying her'...because you know that is what is going to be said." She was rambling at that point, nervously. She still wasn't sure if he was going to be angry or not.

| "So you're saying you are pregnant, then?" Stark continued to give her the level look, waiting on an actual response. "Besides, I doubt anyone truly sees you as a gold digger, and even if they do, I could care less what they think. Be that as it may, my love, I'm quite sure some very wealthy people do little to those they impregnate, much less give them money or feel forced into marriage. If you do have something to say, I wish you'd say it. I'm not sure whether to get excited or not yet."

She said, leaving the decision pretty much to him. "Why would it be better to announce it sooner?" She asked curiously before she finally looked up to him.

| Naturally he would bring in the finest physicians. He was excited? She was rather shocked. Ana simply rested her head against his chest again, finally relaxing and taking a deep breath. 'Of course....whatever you want is fine, dear heart." She murmured before she pushed her chestnut locks back from her eyes with her fingertips.

| "Well then, shall we hope for a boy or a girl? Would you prefer to be surprised or do we want a reading ahead of time? Lots of things to be decided, after all." He continued to smile as he thought about the prospect of their first child. Well, nobody could say it wasn't due, after all. If nothing else, it was likely to pull him away from his work for as much as he was gone. This, however, was not necessarily a bad thing.
