| Of course he would say no to what she was about to ask, but she would ask anyway. "Could we go somewhere....just you and I?" Ana asked, overly hopeful that he would prove her wrong. It was rare that the two of them were truly alone. She knew in some form there was always a guard or shadow guard even stalking outside of their chambers door at night. It was tiring at times, but worth the minor inconvenience in the end.

| "That all depends my love. Where precisely would you like to go?" Stark was open to the suggestion, even if it meant they went somewhere on their own. It was obvious from her tone that she might well want to leave the palace, in which case Stark would be open to going without protection. At some point, he figured, she'd get used to the guards and the like.

| "I need to get a little gift for each of my bridesmaids, and you your groomsmen." She said thoughtfully. "It's very traditional to do so." Ana looked up at him. "I don't know, Alyn. I just want to do something where it is truly just you and I. No Gadrid or Irlilia stalking along in the shadows or blending into a crowd. Just us. Being normal."

| "And are we as normal as can be?" He asked her that with a bit of a smile. "We can certainly go out and find the gifts by ourselves though. Skip the fine dressing and go out for a simple day. That does actually sound very pleasant, my love. I could quite get behind that idea."

| Ana frowned for a moment as she looked up at him. She wouldn't say she had ever really dressed fancy since she had been here, save for once or twice, when he needed her to. She had much simpler tastes than perhaps he realized. Most of the time she wore very casual linen or cotton dresses, sweaters, jeans...just whatever she felt comfortable in. And Ana hadn't really even seen the tip of the iceberg when it came to the shoes Irlilia had been stashing away for her. In fact, she barely wore shoes in the castle.
"I think that I would like that more than anything, Alyn. And no one would expect you to be just wandering about like that, I imagine. Of course, we could do that on Naboo without a second thought. No one knows or cares who I am, quite honestly." She said before she stopped at their room and pressed the keys to slide the door open. For an outing, she would need shoes.

| "That is quite true, dear," Stark admitted. "Unfortunately, I would not likely even be able to do that much on Naboo. Still, we could always visit one of the other cities, Frezen or New Shallos perhaps? It is still quite possible to retain a great measure of anonymity. We could always take a trip to Naboo as well if you like. There's nothing to sat we need to stay on Lorrd, my love."

| She would simply shrug and then nod some. "Whatever you feel is best." She was somewhat home sick, but he had work to do and she would not do anything to keep him from it. She might ask him to stay, of course, but that was only natural of her to do despite the fact that she shouldn't. Ana walked into their room and dropped down on her side of the bed for a moment so that she could pull a pair of shoes on and then perhaps find a jacket to take along since she had no idea where they were going or what the weather would be like.

| Stark paused for a moment in their walk, considering. With everything that had been happening lately, Ana hadn't had much time away from Lorrd. Surrounded as she was by servants, even having her friends here from Naboo might not truly relieve being homesick. With the wedding coming up and Stark's trip to Imperial Center, odds were not good they'd get much of a chance to get away prior to the honeymoon.
"Tell me, love, would you like to go to Naboo? Today, I mean. Leave within an hour or so and just make a small trip out of it? I'm sure that nobody will truly mind. Let your friends know, of course, so they don't worry."

| Ana looked up at him from where she was sitting. He really was the most kind and considerate person she had ever met. And while at the moment she was feeling a little off for some reason, he still put her feelings first without any consideration ( it seemed) about what he needed to do. Maybe he had enough people to take care of things for him? She didn't honestly know.
"Alyn, as kind as that is of you, I don't want to take you from anything that you need to do either here or for your trip. I'll be fine....just having some trouble adjusting." For a while she had seemed fine, but it was all a bit overwhelming at times and part of it was probably her being so tired recently.

He stroked her cheek gently, pausing for a moment to look into her eyes. "There is nothing more important than what time I spend with you. My work will be completed and then I will come home to our family."

| She forced a small smile and nodded some. "I will be fine while you are gone. There are a multitude of activities that are planned while you're away. And maybe that will take my mind off of it. But for today...that outing with just you and I will be fine." She said before she smoothed her dark hair with her fingertips. Ana had slipped her shoes on, and she had a sweater just in case.

| Pulling on his own jacket and slipping his blaster into a concealed holster within the lining, Stark turned to the mirror, straightening the collar. "If you are sure, darling. I do know you miss your home a lot, and if I could, I would bring Naboo here for you so that you could be happier. For coming from a world of greenery and flowers, a world of ice and desert with greenery few and far between must be a change."

| She nodded again. "I do miss my home. But this is my home now and I'm fine...I promise." She reassured him. The greenhouse that they had talked about would surely do her good once it was finished. And she would adjust soon enough to Lorrd. She had to.
Ana put on a bright smile. "So where did you decide we are going? And the deal is still the same, yes?"

| "Of course the deal is the same, my love. And I have decided to change up our destination some; we'll be going to Frezen. They're known for their eateries and fine shopping areas. A little off the beaten path, of course, but we'll be able to do it." He was glad to hear she was willing to adapt. For a time, he'd been concerned that the distance from her home would be a deal breaker of sorts in regards to their marriage, but seeing her coming around was a relief.

| Ana brightened some, but only some, as he described where they were going. "Do I need more than a sweater?" She asked as she stood and pulled the cashmere garment on over her arms and then buttoned only a few buttons so that the white shirt below still showed. She fluffed her hair a bit and then frowned as she looked for her little handbag, finally locating it next to the vanity that she had so easily covered in little bottles of stuff, and other girly things. Poor Alyn and his once very masculine bedroom were being taken over by a girl. His closet too.
She was adapting slowly to Lorrd, thankfully. At first it had been easy because the full gravity of what was happening had not yet hit her. Once the wedding planning and the decision making started, she started to struggle to find some sense of normalcy in a very weird and overly pampered every day existence. Then of course, she found out she was pregnant. It was all very happy, and she was very happy, it was just hard to show it.
Ana moved over to Alyn and smiled some before she slid his arms around his waist and laid her head on his chest for a moment. "I'm sorry if I've been weird." She finally said.
