The Friend of Drackmar noted the Tetan ship as it approached from a distance, but took no action. Yet. With Senator Tu'rot (presumably) unconscious—much to the relief of his security detail, no doubt—and the shields on the Senator's ship lowered, the Friend of Drackmar used its tractor beams to pull the ship ponderously closer, as the small, Katarn-class boarding craft drifted carefully between them, turning gracefully in space to align its boarding hatch with the Senator's ship. Then, contact was made; from the inside, a thump would be heard, then a rushing of air as a seal was formed, followed by a muffled, metallic screech as a plasma torch went to work on the hull.

Inside the boarding shuttle, Doohan worked the plasma torch, muttering inaudibly under the noise. The Senator's ship was a custom design. No one had seen it before, so Doohan couldn't be 100% sure if he was cutting into a hallway or just a bunch of circuits and pipes and wires—you know, unimportant stuff. The wizened old ship mechanic made an educated guess, however, that the hole he was making in the ship would open up near the engine room. It was good enough for the eight lightly-armored, but heavily-armed Ruusan League soldiers standing ready behind him. 5 Humans, 1 Mon Calamari, 1 Skrilling, and 1 M'shinni. The last 2 looked more nervous than the rest, but made up for it in determination.

Another blast of turbolaser fire, this time in the direction of the Tetan cruiser as it strayed within firing range of this private gathering. The Friend of Drackmar wouldn't be surprised to find a Tetan ship here—indeed, the Senators were traveling very close to Tetan space on their way to the Botor Enclave. But the Marauder-class cruiser could dispatch the Tetan Consular-class without too much trouble (if necessary). The deadly green turbolaser fire lancing past the the Tetan ship close enough to put carbon scoring on its paint job was proof enough of that. Plus, the Tetan ship would also be entering into the Friend of Drackmar's communications jamming. (A short-distance channel was still available to hail the Friend itself, however—only long range, hyperspace-based communications were jammed).

Tu'Rot would be out cold and therefore less of burden to the rest of the crew. However, with Tu'Rot not responding this posed a problem.
Grabbing the Governor General and placing him over the shoulder, 2 of
the security detail would make haste, quickly throwing him into a hidden
compartment. Before they left him, his hands would be cuffed and tape
put over his mouth. With the last addition, Tu'Rot would be secured in
the compartment, with a story being made up that he was shot from behind
from the... man-friendly terrorists and taken into the room to 'have
some fun.' The 5 detailed men not only would get a medal for their
heroic efforts, but would enjoy a good laugh at the expense of their
'elected' official, anywho. Running back, they could hear the thump and
this raised some questions. The senior officer would look at Senator Thanatos and nod. "Ma'am, he won't pose a problem... however we have a situation... your orders."

"Senator...."  Riley started before a faint screech filtered up to the cockpit from near to the engine room.  He was to his feet in a moment and grabbed Ilanah by the wrist, hastily, and nearly dragged her from the cockpit and into the lounge area.  As he pulled her past he spoke to Tu'Rot's men.  "Come with me."

Once in the lounge, Riley opened a small hidden panel and typed in a password.  A hidden door slid open.  "Senator, if you please.  You'll be safe in there."  He said, releasing her wrist and gently urging her to go inside.  She looked confused, as if she didn't know the room was there.  Before her accident, she had, but now she didn't remember it at all.

"No, Riley..." Ilanah pulled back from him and glanced to Tu'Rot's men.  "I don't want all of you dying to protect me.  There has to be a diplomatic solution to this."  She said.  "So get down to the engine room.  No shooting anyone, alright?"  Ilanah wasn't sure it was the right course of action, but she didn't want anyone to die.  So that was what they did.

"Holy mother of!" The ensign at the bridge called out as the turbolaser fire scored the hull of their ship.

"What was that!" He continued, nearly in a panic now. The Tetan Navy was by and large, untested, and he was an ensign, brand new - not having been around like some of the old timers to have served in the Clone War.

"Turbolaser fire, get ahold of yourself man." The steely captain ordered, then gave the order to bring the ship about and raise shields.

"Whatever it is, it doesn't want us here. Get the fleet here!"

"But sir..." There was a hesistant pause from the Ensign...."We've been jammed." In a few more moments, the cruiser would have be in range to effectively return fire, but the Captain wasn't sure if he wanted to.
