Jedi Denowai, I would suggest that if you speak with Havoc, you do so in the company of another Knight, or perhaps the rangers who are keeping watch on him. I sense much turbulence in him; his thoughts are as a whirlwind, and he is blinded by his own pride. I feel that he may still be dangerous, my friends, and certainly unruly. He will sit in judgment of others―indeed, of us all―but refuses to be judged himself. This is a perilous combination, and I do not believe we can trust him to submit himself to the judgment of the Republic of his own free will (if, indeed, that is what is decided).

But make no mistake, fellow Masters. I do not mean to suggest that we are above the law, but rather that in this instance the law might well do more harm than good. There is, of course, potential harm to our very Academy and its standing in the public esteem, which I mentioned, but also harm to Havoc himself. If he is found guilty, he would no doubt be rebellious and unrepentant, and possibly pose a danger to himself and others, and I'm concerned this could well precipitate his fall to the Dark Side (which could prove far worse than his massacre on Dagobah). I still believe that we would be wise to confine him to the Academy, or perhaps to agricultural or medical duty on Telos, where he can learn to overcome his pride and apply his talents to helping others, rather than serving his own, convoluted ends.

However, if we must involve the Republic in this affair, I would suggest perhaps it would be prudent to contact them privately first, and seek their counsel on how best they would prefer to handle this matter. In the meantime, if Jedi Knight Denowai thinks she can reach Havoc, then by all means. But be cautious, and remember that it was his fascination with Echuu Shinzon that began this series of events. And I do not object to an investigation at Zhyr, so long as the proper authorities are informed. The assassination of Senator Moraine is disturbing indeed―perhaps the work of Darwin Sky?―and we must get to the bottom of it.

An eerie silence followed Jedi Master Streen’s comments, Raztlain sat, brow furrowed in thought and silent meditation as he contemplated his own judgment. For a several silent minutes he studied his open hands that lay in his lap, something about all of this was connected, he could feel it, but it did not feel like the work of Darwin Sky. Finally his calm voice broke the screaming silence.

“I concur with Jedi Master Streen. Jedi Knight Denowi will go to Havoc, but she will not go alone.” He paused as if trying to recall the few Jedi within the halls of the Academy. “Take with you Jedi knight Varitek, but be swift for the matter on Zyhr must not be delayed. We will contact the Republic with our intentions of investigating this matter, perhaps they will lend us aid and much needed support. You may go.” He said simply.

He waited until their footfalls echoed into silence before continuing. “I too agree that contacting the Republic, privately, would be wise while dealing with Havoc. His saber should be withheld if not destroyed until such a time that he has regained the maturity to construct another. I also feel that he should be confined to the academy until such a time that he has relearned the true nature of the Force. This is my council.”

A small sigh of relief issued from Denowai's lips as she heard Varitek would be coming along on the matter. Granted that he and she had a rather interesting if not somewhat healthy difference on some things, she felt that his presence would help the investigation of Zhyr flow along as precisely as it could. This was really what Celise wanted more than anything as she bowed. Zhyr. Home of her former teacher's "Empire" some thousand years earlier.

The planet no doubt was tied to the matter, Celise had decided when she picked the report up; though Celise had no clue as to how all things correlated. She did however hold a faint hope that if her father was alive he might be upon Zhyr as well. His love for his master was often touched on in lessons from the holocron. (long before she was aware of her connection to the man.) Truly it was a long shot as she hadnt felt him.. but a degree of sadness was still harbored for the Deralia injunction. Making a note to visit Havok she bowed to the collective Masters before turning away.

"May the force be with you all."

After giving Varitek a look signalling her intent to depart, she did so.

OOC Segment:

The plot will diverge here to better enable all parties to post,
Chronology will be meeting with Havoc located here, followed by the trip to Zhyr: Which will be written in the next week.

Jace bowed respectfully to the Council, turned, and followed Celise out of the chamber with Havoc's lightsaber still in hand.
