| She started to protest. "I can walk, ya know!" But there was no sense in it. She cold walk, it was just painful and slow going at the moment. Mira looked up at Jaden for a moment. "I really think that we could have waited or gone another way, Jaden? I mean seriously...I've been in one crash today and I really don't want to have another." She told him. "It's only four of them, he says." She murmured to herself as she took over the gun controls and looked out the viewport.

| The Jedi would grin as he manned the gun, waiting for the pirates to come to them. He could R2-D9 beeping on his headset, the droid was confirming that the pirates are coming. When the fighters came into his sight, he began to fire his guns out. "R2-D9, when we destroy all four of them, get us into hyperspace right away." The droid beeped, and Jaden continues to focus on the pirates. He knew he could dispatch them pretty well, but he was worried about whether Mira was able to do so. "Mira, let's just get this over with." He said on the headset.

| Mira let out a low sigh as she looked over the controls on the console. "Yes, lets....when they're in range." She murmured as she took the control just to get a feel for it. "Blasters really are more my style, you know, though I suppose this is just a big version of that." Mira smirked to herself and watched out the viewport as the smallish pirates ships started to come into range. She turned on the targeting for help, because with this being something she had never done, she didn't want to let Jaden down.

| The Jedi would chuckle as the pirates had come in their sight, "I don't think they know they're facing a Jedi." He spoke to himself as he presses the buttons and the turret began firing right away. The first wave of laser bolts got to a pirate fighter, so that left three. "R2-D9, keep the ship steady." He had to assure the droid to make sure the astromech would still follow the orders. Jaden would continue focusing on trying to eleminate all four of them. "R2-D9, when the enemies are destroyed, get into hyperspace en route Yavin Four." He ordered the droid, hoping that Mira would be able to make things easier by killing the pirates.

| Mira sighed, taking the time to lock the targeting before she started firing. The pirates were firing on them, and the ship was rocking from near misses. She wrapped her finger on the trigger and began to fire. Her first few shots missed, but then started penetrating one of the ships until it blew. She took a moments pause before she started firing on the next, leaving the last for Jaden.

| "Good job, Mira." He said on the headset, as he kept on firing toward the last pirate. The Jedi would speak to R2-D9, "Get ready to have the ship enter into hyperspace." Right after this, the laser bolts had hit the pirate. The starfighter had exploded several feet away from the YT-1300 light freighter. Jaden would chuckle, still confident that they were able to win the fight and they did. Shortly after this, the ship entered into hyperspace. The Jedi would take off the headset and carefully placed it on the chair, as he climbed up and got into the hallway. He would wait until Mira does the same thing, "Well...that wasn't hard."

| She sat the headset aside and climbed out of the seat before she went to meet him. "Yeah, easy." she murmured and offered him a small smile. "So now? Back to Coruscant?" Mira asked as she walked by his side. She knew that despite the NRI rules, she would be back out in the field in no time even after an incident like she had been through. Even after the undercover operation on Telos, she was only at a desk for a week, and that was just long enough to finish her reports. She did still have to testify against Dimitri, despite her desire to not do that. She had provided most of the evidence. But it was only right. "Maybe we can make it there without incident."

| The Jedi shook his head, "Actually, I've had R2-D9 set the coordinates to Yavin Four. We won't be there long. I just have to consult with the Council on why I've left...a.k.a. you." Jaden would let out a sigh, walking into the main galley. He crossed his arms, knowing that he had defied the Council for Mira. However, the Council would be understanding when this sort of thing comes along. After all, they needs the relationship between the Republic and the Jedi to stay smooth and the relations between Jaden and Mira could be a small step toward that. "One can only hope, Mira. At least now we can travel together when needed. Although this ship's going to need some upgrades. Nothing that R2-D9 and I couldn't handle."

| Mira dropped down into a seat and turned her gaze to Jaden. "How much trouble are you going to be in? Is there anything that I can do to help you? I could speak to the council also if you like." She offered, though she was not sure that it would be helpful. She reached up and brushed her fingertips through her hair, tousling the blond locks and then letting them fall over her shoulders. "And I am going to need clothes...' Mira mentioned. She liked to shop....sometimes.

| Jaden would shook his head, walking over to sit next to Mira. "Nah, I'll probably get to write "Do not leave the Council like that again" 1,000 times." He spoke sacrastically, confident that he wasn't going to get in much trouble. "I'm pretty sure this kind of thing the Council would let go. I'm not worried though." Jaden would lean back on the chair, crossing his arms. He chuckled lightly, "Well, you look pretty in any outfit, but if you want, you could search this ship for possible leftover clothes." The droid proceed on to the engine room and do a routine inspection. This was the way R2-D9 always have done, even when he had a x-wing.

| "Or....we could go shopping." She beamed. "And thank you." Mira watched him for a moment and then her gaze trailed off after the Droid. "So to Yavin, then where? Coruscant? I do have to check in, though I could just holo conference in and see what is going on." She rarely went to headquarters, usually working from some remote planet, and home every once and a while.

| "It's all up to you. You could holotransmit to Coruscant when I confer with the Council. I'm sure it's easier, but it's up to you." Jaden would stay in his seat, after a long trip from Yavin 4 to Haruun Kal and then the adventures before escaping on this ship. That being said, he knows he needs to just sit and have some peace for a while. Though he always love having Mira being there with him.

| "I'll do that, but I lost all of my stuff....datapad, comm, etc in the crash. So when we shop, we'll have to replace all of that so I can work." She said, smiling. Mira looked like she was joking, but she wasn't....not really. Mira scooted her chair closer to him and let out a low sigh. "I need to thank you. I....didn't after Telos....maybe I did....but not good enough. And you know....for this. For coming. You didn't have to. And you could get in alot of trouble for it."

| Jaden scoffed lightly, "You didn't have to thank me for it. This is what we do. I bail you out. You bail me out. We're good at it. We need to keep that going. And as for getting into trouble...if I get in trouble, then I always have a good reason to. You're the good reason most of the time...actually, almost all the time." The Jedi had noticed that Mira had come little bit closer to him, but he would let that one go. "You didn't need to thank me, but thank you for...you know...thanking me." Jaden chuckled, "This is the Jedi's life, I get myself in danger for the others. In this case, I get in danger for you."

| "I don't bail you out as much as you bail me out, but either way...." She murmured softly. Mira hesitated for a moment. "I think I will go lay down for a while in one of the bunks. Pretty tired. Adrenaline is gone, you know." She said as she stood. Mira turned to walk away but turned back quickly and leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to his lips before she turned and wandered off.
