| *shakes his head, chuckling inwardly at this, before rising from his seat* As Imperial Senators, we are entitled to special privileges that raise us above the normal rights of Imperial citizens. We are representatives of our individual systems, but also stewards of the Imperial trust. As such, any attacks or rights of refusal from places of public business toward senators reflects upon these establishments' opinion of the Empire as a whole. If a senator is refused entrance just because of their stance, then that place of business is most decidedly against the Empire. However, if they are refused entrance for insulting the establishment and making a public scene, then this motion is a blatant abuse of power of Senate privilege. | I apologize but I will not vote for this ridiculous bill proposed by Senator Oswaldt, thus I vote against it. It's all about the right to refuse service not because of discrimination but because the restaurants throughout the galaxy have a right to keep their business safe if they feel threatened.

And Telos, are you really telling me that a restaurant can deny me or you service because they "feel threatened" by humans? That's ridiculous.. and if even I think its ridiculous then it probably is. Tell me Telos, does that mean I can deny service to a Toydarian because I don't like him? That would be fine with me. But the point is I threatened no one. I don't know why you're putting the blame on me. I went into a restaurant for food and I was denied food. I'm the victim here, not some flopnose Toydarian.
