-The newly found governor of Abregado-San after a civil war on the planet had broken out on his planet stood before the imperial senate. His people made a peace treaty, where no brother on Abregado-san was to be harmed by another brother. Unless they committed a crime, and were sent to execution. As he stood within the senator's rotunda, he looked around viewing all the other senators, It was about time his planet helped better the galaxy, plus his own planet.-

"Greetings Senator's and Speaker Pestage, I am Nasir Baqri, Emir of Abregado-San which means governor in basic. I was sent here by the Sultan of Abregado-San Akku Khalid, to get our planet into the imperial senate, and offer our knowledge on any subject we can, which can range from multiple things, to much to list in fact, but if any one has a question about what I can offer as the representative of Abregado-san. Please, let me know. I will do my best to answer them."

"Well, I believe that I have been quite consistent on these matters, that planets who wish to be represented be allowed to and as such I will vote in favor of your planet being allowed without unreasonable delay or undue burden."

Does the gentleman represent Abregado San only? Or does he represent the whole Abregado system? What is the population of your world? And more importantly, what is its human population?

Has your world had any insurrections, insurgencies or civil wars in the last two decades? Is it a stable and functioning Imperial Loyalist world?

I represent the planet it's self, I apologize for not stating that earlier, slipped my mind. Won't happen again.

Human population is prevalent, and we also have sub humans, such as Anzat's a few Zabraks. But the majority of our system is human.

As for our insurrections.... Well. One side was trying to force it's ideas and religion upon another side, the other side didn't like it, it lead to violence and eventually war. We've settled on a treaty, were people of this religion pray here and live here, and the others there and so forth.

As for imperial loyalist world, our sector was involved with the clone wars, so I'd say it is.

Well, as our planet became one, the two religions on our planet's are seeing peace, and they understand that if our planet is to join the senate, practicing the religion will have to be esoteric.

Greetings.... I hope I'm saying it right... Emeer? Emir? Eh... Governor Baqri. I have a question about your planet's treatment towards alien races and females, How exactly does your society treat them? This is a subject near to my heart, fair treatment for aliens and females alike

Eh, religion requires women to not show their faces in public, only their eyes. Other then that, they have the same rights as any one else on our planet. Same would go for aliens I suppose, if we had any on our planet.

I am curious as to why women must cover their face. I am not a religious man, so you will have to forgive me if I appear ignorant to your culture.

Excellent question, most prestigious senator of Dantooine.

The women of our planet must cover them self's, as part as the religious rules, this helps women to be modest. It helps men in not gazing at women and avoids sexual excitements when working with dangerous equipment.

Speaking as a woman, I can assure you that we ladies find men as exciting as they find us. Some of them, anyway. But I digress, it isn't my nature to question the cultural ways of other planets unless they come into direct conflict with the ideals of the Empire, or threaten the peace in any way. Since I hardly see veils as a reason to hinder your indictment, I vote in favour of allowing Abregado-San and her representative, Emir Nasir, into the Empire.

May this addition bring mutual benefits to both sides.

If Abregado-San is permitted to join the Imperial Senate and the Empire, will the restrictions on clothing for women be removed? Due to the fact that the restricts are made by the religious sects on the planet and the Empire has a policy of not endorsing religions of any sort. Of course personal choices would be a completely different situation.

I however find it very interesting that so many put restricts on what women may or may not wear or do. When I am sure that males can wear whatever they wish. Their pants can be as tight as they want, their shirts as well and yet, we, women are subjective by rules made by men. Men whose eyes are wandering and thus it makes us, females, have to suffer because the other sex cannot control them.

I thank you for the vote, Senator Taja.

And as for your question, Queen Cerra. This was an issue brought up within our planet's supreme council. By vote, of only females. They did not wish for their clothing to be removed, they fear it will anger their gods. However, if needed this will be lifted, if they chose to conceal themselves, well that is up to them.

It does not, as far as I know. As I said if it is a personal choice than I am alright with it. If it is something brought upon them because of males who cannot control themselves, than I do. But I will vote in favor of your planet joining this body.
