"I've never.....felt so...." She trailed off as she was unsure how to describe it. Weak. Frightened. Worried. They were all adequate words to describe it, but she didn't want to admit it. Finally, she would look up at Kal for he briefest of moments. " I have to meet with Miff Brant and hopefully the chair of the Defense Committee when we get back. And you...you should lay low and do your job?" Yes, it was a question, because she was honestly unsure.

Truthfully, she wasn't sure what to do. Out of habit, she twisted the platinum ring around her finger as she watched him. It was honestly hard for her to look at him. She still felt so terrible and yet he was still willing to do anything, which made that feeling worse. "And Tremaine. I'll have to talk to him first. "

"With you here, I have no doubt. " He couldn't watch over her every second, but she knew he would try to.

"We should stay as far away from the Senate district. The apartment that we stayed at last time should work..."

"We should be there sometime soon, I think." Ilanah wasn't a huge fan of flying, so she tended to stay out of the cockpit when she traveled anywhere and entrusted her guard to handle all of the travel arrangements. He always had done a good job so far.

"It being in your father's name helps even more. Even though we are married, there might be some in the Empire that wouldn't agree on having a Senator and an Inquisitor be even that close. We still need to be careful about all of this..."

"Senator...we will be planet side in just a few moments, and I will take you two straight to the condo." He said before the comm clicked off.

"Well I guess that's it." Lana said and smiled slightly as she pulled herself to her feet and put all of her work accouterments back into her briefcase. "Home." Her gaze went to him for the moment. Every time she looked at him, she knew that they were ok and doing the right thing. Ilanah let out a low sigh as she snapped the latches on the case shut and then laid it down.

"I'm still really sorry for dragging you into all of this. I hope that you don't regret it." She murmured before she pushed her fingertips through her hair.

He would look into her eyes, "Lana...don't be sorry. I accepted this, knowing that there would be somethings that would need to be overcome. I've gone through some already, and I'm positive that there will be more. I don't regret this at all. I know that it is helping you and your cause. That is enough for me to continue going on and furthering your cause..."

It was late, as evident from the darkness that was outside of the window. Late and raining. She sighed and put the strap of her bag over her shoulder before she started to move past him to get off of the ship and into the relative safety of the condo.

Once inside, Lana removed the cloak that had been over her shoulders and laid it onto the back of a chair to dry. "So...you were only here for a day or so before but....it's your home too, if you want it to be." She told him quietly as her gaze skirted the mostly darkened condo. "Anything you need should be here, and if it's not....I can get it. alright?"

It had been a while since he had actually had a place he could call home. A small smile came across his face, "Thank you...it's good to have a home again." His eyes at that moment would turn to where he knew the kitchen was, "The only thing I would need would be some good food." There would have been a small pause before he would jump back with another comment, "Oh...and no healthy food too. We have to have junk food. It is the only way that I can keep this figure..." He motioned with his hands at his body.

Lana made her way into the large, open kitchen before she opened one of the cabinet doors. She would hop up and seat herself (gown and all) on the counter top so she could actually reach the shelf, and she pulled down a box of chocolate cupcakes that were filled with icing, and some sort of spongy cake treats that were covered in white and red icing. Lana pulled herself up and fished deeper into the cabinet and pulled out more of the same types of sugary, terrible for you treats before she settled back down on the counter.

"And I have a box of truffles hidden somewhere in this condo....but I am not telling you where, Kal Thanatos." She smirked as she motioned him over.

Kal was happy. His life was finally getting back on track, and he had a job that gave him some kind of excitement. There was just the part where he had to continuously perform his job, or his superiors would begin to become suspicious at his actions. Even though they were as safe as they could be on the Empire's Capital, Kal knew that there had to be some foolish Jedi that still hid out there at one point or another.

Lana sat a bottle of some sort of fizzy soda on the counter for him before she went and got his bag and took it to her, their, bedroom and hung up his things and put his stuff away in the drawers.
