| "At this point, you don't have a choice Tremaine. If he doesn't back off....he's going to keep digging and you know he will not stop." She said softly as she looked to him. "And please....please....warn me next time. He might be smitten, but I cannot hide this from him forever." Ilanah meant her marriage, and her pregnancy of course, but Tremaine didn't know about that part yet. She debated telling him.
"What is it that you wanted to tell me?" She asked as she glanced to Kal for a moment, just to read any expression that he might have. There was no reason for him to be jealous, but there was always the possibility.

| For no reason would Kal be jealous. There was nothing threatening, at all, from this man. There was something that did make him a little sceptical about all this. Obviously, the Moff was close to catching on to their 'side jobs' and they were beginning to worry about it. He couldn't help but focus on this. There had to be a way they could use the fact that this Moff was so closely watching the two of them, and Kal would figure it out.
His eyes would move from one to the other as they continued on with their discussion.

| The rebel leader would simply nod at Lana, "Alright, I'll give him the money as soon as possible just to get him off our backs. Before he would move on to how things are going over at the Libs, he'd take something out of his pocket. He placed it onto a table near the window. It was a small, portable jamming device. It would prevent the Imperials, especially Moff Brandt, from hearing their conservation. In addition to that, if there was hidden cameras, the device would force the camera to go into a playback loophole. It would make everything look normal, like Lana was going on her everyday activities.
He looked at his good friend once again, showing the sense of urgency in this. "The stakes had gotten higher." Indeed, a lot had been happening since they last spoke. He wasn't sure if Lana was being kept in the loophole, hopefully Jules had filled her in. "The Libs' best squadron had been sent to rescue a freedom fighter by the name of Baird, and his men, in the Quellii Sector. We've been growing in numbers everyday. The spy network had been established throughout the galaxy. We've been gaining allies as well."
The Telosian would clear his throat for a moment, the sense of urgency would be increasing by the moment. "However, our most recent ally, a Separatist faction, are coordinating with the Libs in attacking the Imperial forces at Telos IV. We're gonna need warships and starfighters to match their forces. I can take care of the crew that's going to man those ships." Yup, attacking his homeworld sounds like a crazy plan. After some discussion, Mika had convinced Tremaine that this would take some eyes off his back. The suspicions of him being a rebel would be getting less and less with this attack. "Crazy, huh?"

| Immediately, the Senator recognized the device Tremaine had laid on the table. No one knew of her condo except them, especially not any one in senate and least of all, Brandt. "I appreciate you taking care of that....and warn me. Just warn me. I don't mind doing things like that if I have a plan."
She nodded as she followed the conversation. "Jules told me about Baird and his men. I hope that they get to him soon. I was actually thinking....I know someone from a long time ago that I am going to contact and send your way...." Ilanah trailed off before he spoke again.
And she paled, visibly. "You're going to do...what?" She asked. "Tremaine.....that's your home. What about the people? And....the people?!" Ilanah started to get worked up and upset. "Tremaine...it's more than crazy....it's ridiculous." She said softly, though she was sure that he had his mind made up.
"What...." She paused. "What do you need me to do?"

| The Telosian simply nodded in agreement with the Chandrilan, "Yeah, I know it's a little bit ridiculous. But Mika convinced me that if we attack Telos IV, it would help lessen the suspicions of me being a rebel. Especially from Senators Oswaldt and Ordan. Mika already made the Separatists promise not to attack civilians. She made sure the attack would be directed at the Imperial forces only." He began to walk back and forth, knowing the stakes of the upcoming campaign. "If I recall correctly, you have someone that's capable of supplying us warships and fighters. The type of fighters doesn't matter. But I'd like a couple of small and fast warships. The type that's capable of holding their own against star destroyers."
He finally leaned himself against the wall, trying to relax himself a little bit. "If I'm thinking what the Seps are thinking, it's going to be a fierce battle. Think of how it would impact both us and the Empire if we win the battle. We would have stuck a blow to the Empire, and show people they can be defeated. It'll be more of symbolic victory than anything else."

| She would start pacing also, one hand resting on her lower back as she did. "You of all people should know that Separatists cannot be trusted. Even if they give their word." She said. Lana shot him a glance. "And yes, I know....well I don't know him, but I have heard of him....and I am sure he would help, but...."
Ilanah dropped down onto the edge of a chair and trailed her fingers through her sleek locks. "I will contact him this evening." She murmured before she drew in a deep breath. "And I know....I know it would be a good thing if it was victory. But what if it isn't?"
There was another pause in her speech.
"And what are you going to do? When it happens? It's your planet...."

| He stared at Lana, "That's why it took Mika some time to convince me. I don't trust the Separatists neither. But out of all allies, they're the most powerful we've come across. Plus they've fought the Empire more than any of the other resistance groups. It would be beneficial for both us and them if we're allies rather than enemies. The real enemy is the Empire right now, not Separatists."
The Telosian grinned when she asked if they would turn out to be on the losing side of the upcoming battle. "If we're starting to lose the battle, we'll retreat and fight another day. Besides even if we don't win the battle, we'd at least take down a few Imperials. After it happens, I'll have to go out on the HoloNet and condemn the "terrorists" for attacking my homeworld. That way the Empire won't suspect a thing."

| "You will have to be very convincing, Tremaine. Very." She whispered before she dropped her head into her hands. Kal would notice almost immediately that her emotions were all over the place. Physically, she was lingering on the edge of tears. She knew that this would have to happen eventually, but not one of their home planets.
"What else do you need from me, Tremaine?" She asked as she fought to calm down a little bit. "I will do what I can. You know that."

| The Senator would feel bad that he was throwing all this at her at once. But it had to be done. She was his running partner when it comes to the Libs. Sure, she may not know the military stuffs but she knows how to get help for the Libs. He shook his head lightly, "Nothing else. Again, I apologize." He'd walk past Ilanah, it looked like she needed some time alone with her Inquisitor husband. "You can keep the device." Tremaine was referring to the jamming device. He wanted her to be cautious since she was more well-liked in the Senate than he was.
He was heading toward the door, when he forget to tell her one more thing. "Oh, by the way, if you know any Jedi...let them know the Libs would be more than happy to grant them a sanctuary."

| She looked up when he mentioned Jedi. Jedi. Ilanah stayed seated for only a second before she got up and showed her friend to the door. She would give him a gentle hug, whether he wanted it or not, and let him out. She rested her hands on the back of the door after she shut it behind him.
The Senator felt nauseous about the whole discussion. Except the part about Brandt. That was going to be taken care of, at least. One less thing to worry about for now. Finally, she would turn her gaze to Kal and let out a soft sigh. "I am sorry about that...." She murmured.
"Where were we?" Though she was trying to push it aside, she was still relatively upset.

| It was difficult for him to remain quiet for that entire discussion. He felt it was necessary, however. He had no part in it, at least for now that was. He would watch the man leave the apartment, and felt a little bit of relief from Lana as she shut the door behind him.
"It's fine. I understand that you needed to settle some business. Now, how about we get ready and have a nice night out? I'm sure that we both could use some time out and away from things that remind us of work...so, how about it, Lana?" He would ask with that charming smile of his.
He was interested in finding out more about everything they had discussed. It would come back up eventually, but like he said, they both needed a break from everything work related.

| The senator turned her gaze to him for a brief moment. "Do you really think that is a good idea,Kal?" She asked as she moved across the room and smoothed her fingertips over the silk of her plum colored gown. Ilanah would shake her head. "Nevermind, you're right." She forced a small smile and paused, then placed a tender kiss on his cheek before she moved off to the bedroom to change clothes.
Ilanah looked at her reflection in the mirror of her vanity as she sat there. It was hard for her not to think about what Tremaine had just told her. If she knew any Jedi...they should be contacted. There was one, but she wasn't sure how to get whole of him again. Finding Kenas would be a problem, especially since the article had come out in the Journal. There was surely a way though.
She finally finished, having changed into a sleek black dress and combed her straight locks and left them loose, before she would wait patiently for Kal to join her.

| Before he could respond and tell her that it was a good idea, even though it could possibly ruin the cover they gave him, she changed her mind. He stood there, receiving the kiss on the check and watched her walk off into the bedroom. A smirk came to his face as he shortly followed behind her. He gave her plenty of time to do what she needed.
In the meantime, Kal had quickly changed into a nice grey suit. It was supposed to be a nice romantic night out, and the two were getting dressed up, but Kal decided to not wear a tie out.
He stood out in the living room, watching the news feeds. There wasn't too much going on on the Imperial Center tonight. It would make such a better night for the two of them. As he stood there, something struck him. Here he was hunting down Jedi for a living and at the same time willing to support Lana and her cause. What if he could use his job to actually support her with his job. It would be treason, but hadn't he already technically committed it at this point? He would have to talk further with her about it at another time. It would help her out so much if he were able to track down Jedi and then recruit them secretly for her.
He would notice that she was finally done getting ready. Upon coming up to her, he would smile and tell her, "Wow! You look amazing!"

| There was something about Kal Thanatos that always, even in the years she was away from him, managed to set her heart aflutter. Despite those years, and her dissapearing act, she still felt the same for him that she did when they first wed. The fact that she had run the way she had still bothered her, and she was sure that it bothered him, but they didn't speak of it thankfully. Sure, she had been very young, but things happened for a reason.
"Thanks...so do you." Ilanah responded as she paused and straightened the lapel of his jacket gently. Her fingers rested there a moment before she slid them down his arm to his hand, which she gave a tender squeeze before she produced a set of shiny silver keys and held them out to him with her other hand. The keys jingled as they dangled from her fingertips and she smiled slightly. They belonged to a brand new black speeder that had only been driven a few times.
"I gave my driver the weekend off. Is that alright? " She had never learned to drive, so it had to be alright...and he would just have to drive.

| As soon as the set of shiny keys were pulled out, his eyes lit up. He always had a fascination with speeders. Tweaking and modifying them was always something he loved to do as a hobby. He hadn't had much time as of late to do anything of the sorts, but now having one in his possession could lead to him picking that hobby back up.
He would look up from the keys to his wife with a smile, "Really? Yea...I mean hell yea. That's perfectly fine with me. Hell, you could give him the year off if you want to..." He would reach out and gently take the keys from her, nearly drooling over them as he pulled them in. His eyes moved back up to her's.
"Well then, are you ready to go?" He would ask her as his hand clenched tightly around the keys.
