| She let him take the keys, having known that something like that would make him even happier. "I suppose that is up to you....I have to go alot of places and I still have not learned to drive, so....." Ilanah trailed off as she let him come to his own conclusions. She did suppose that it would be a better way for him to keep an eye on her.
"Yes, I'm ready." She responded. Her little clutch was in her hands and a silk wrap was draped around her bare shoulders, so she was set. "Do you have an idea of where to go? Because Tremaine showed me this really unique restaraunt once when I first came to Coruscant....it floats." She smiled a little, and left it at that. He could choose, this was his idea after all.

| When she asked the question of where he knew to go, he really had no idea. He thought that she would now of a place, and would have asked when they got to the speeder.
"All you had to say was that it floated. As long as there is good food, I'm in. Do you remember where it is?" He asked as he began to lead her outside to the speeder. If they would have stayed inside any longer, they'd take forever to finally get to a place to eat. He felt it was better to get in the speeder and then find their way there.

| As he led her out, she nodded. "I believe so, yes. Its in the Manarai Mountians. A bit of a drive, but if you drive the way I remember...." Ilanah trailed off and climbed into the front seat of the speeder, which was somewhere she had never actually sat before. Her driver, nor Riley ever permitted it. She was sure he would let her though.
As she sat there, Ilanah gazed thougtfully over the skyline after she smoothed the wrinkles from her form fitting, floor length dress. "Its far enough out that not many people go out there. Very private, at times." She would mention to him. It wasn't really a problem for her to be seen, it was a problem to explain why she was with him. It was not like it would be easy to turn her love off and on, but she felt that she would be able to cover if necessary.
Instead of worrying about it anymore, Ilanah leaned forward a bit and searched on the GPS that was built into the console of the speeder. "There. That should help." She offered him a small smile.

| As soon as she climbed in, and told him it was located in the Manarai Mountains, he stopped for a moment. It had been a while since he had been on the planet, and even longer exploring around, but it all came back to him. He pulled the door open, climbing into the driver's seat of the speeder.
One hand took hold of the wheel, while the other inserted the key into the ignition. The speeder started right up without hesitation, like it was waiting for him to start it. A small smile came to his face as he felt the subtle rumble of the vehicle beneath him. He turned to her as she stated that the restaurant was far enough out that not many people go there.
Once she had set the GPS, Kal glanced over at the estimated time of arrival, then looked up at her, "Not bad. I believe I know a short cut. Should shave off nearly half that time..." Before she would be able to respond, Kal pressed on the accelerator and the speeder flew off from the pad it was sitting on. He knew that she probably wouldn't be too happy with how he was driving. It was he way he taught himself how to, however.

| She winced as soon as he accelerated to a rather breakneck speed almost immediately. "I can see that Riley helped me pick the right one. He's almost as obsessed with vehicles as you are." Ilanah smiled and leaned back in the seat to relax some. She would need to, with his driving.
The whole way there, she didn't say anything about his driving. She was fighting off the nervousness though, and tried to keep her gaze focused on the things that they were flying by. Unfortunately, that was making her nauseous. "Kal...how about slowing down....just a touch? " she finally asked as she reached over and rested her hand on his arm gently.

| He let up off of the accelerator just as she asked. His head turned to her, "Sorry. I just got a little excited with the new speeder. It has been a while since I've gotten to drive one of these things." His attention quickly went back to the airway in front of him.
They were nearly ten minutes out now, all thanks to his driving. He hadn't really thought about the fact that she was now with child, and the pregnancy would make her more easily nauseous. He would have to approach things better now that she was with child.

| "Its alright...kid in a candy store...I understand that." She was excited for him as well, though for other reasons aside from the new speeder.
"I almost forgot to tell you. I have a meeting with a shipbuilder this week. I would like if either you or Riley would come. " She said as she kept her hand lightly settled onto his arm. "I have hopes on travelling home more, so I though a safer ship might be in order." Of course, that wasn't the only reason she was meeting with the contractor, but Kal would likely find that out soon enough.

| He would laugh at her kid in a candy store comment. It was completely and udderly true. He could actually picture himself as a child in a candy store and just how excited he would have been. That only made him laugh even more.
"That's fine. You should continue to give Riley time off. He greatly deserves it. I'll take over for him until we either leave or I have to leave." He said as he glanced over to the GPS, checking on the amount of time that was left on their trip. It showed that they had arrived. He looked back up, slowing the speeder down even more.
"Looks like we've arrived. Now, where is the Valet service?" He asked her, hoping that she would have an idea.

| The senator paled slightly when he mentioned just him leaving. She hated the thought, absolutely. "I see...alright. He does deserve the rest." The issue that they had on Chandrilia had been hard on both her and Riley, though he had gotten the worst of it. She was silently thankful for that, not for her sake, but that of their child. It was that incident that made her wary of Kal leaving.
When his voice cut through her thoughts, she pushed them aside as she listened to him. "Oh...oh yes of course...its right up there." She pointed to a spot where a young man was standing, just outside the entrance to the restaraunt. Once he would stop, the young man opened her door and she took his offered hand to get out. As she did, the skirting of the sleek floor length gown dropped loose and.dragged the ground slightly as she walked.
It wasn't full at all, the gown. Instead, it hugged her curves and the skirts flared.just below the knee to make walking easier. She was pretty sure that she wouldn't get many more chances to wear things like that, but she chose it with Kal in mind.

| Noticing the valet service just up ahead, as she pointed it out to him, he steered the speeder into the unloading area. Lana was helped out of the vehicle as Kal climbed out, leaving it running for the young man that was going to park his speeder. As Kal came around the front of the speeder, he moved in front of the young man, handing him a credit chip that had a tip for him.
He would step off to Lana, giving her his arm so that he may escort her inside the restuarant.

| "You're quiet." She murmured as she took his arm. It felt like something was bothering him, or something was on his mind. Lana rubbed her hand lightly on his arm as she looked up at him from his side. "What is it?"
It wouldn't take long for the hostess to seat them, thankfully in a secluded part of the restaurant directly next to one of the large windows. It had a spectacular view, which she would enjoy immensely if she could relax enough to be able to. "Water for me, please...." she told the waitress who came by. Her attention was not on her though, she was focused on Kal.

| She was correct. He was quiet, and he had a good reason for it. His mind was stuck on the conversation Lana and the other Senator, Tremaine, had just earlier in the day. As they would take their seat, Lana would order a water. He had, for a split second, forgotten that she was pregnant. He was going to order a nice bottle of wine to further the romance of the night.
He too would order a water, "I'll take the same." There was no point in teasing her with alcohol as it would sit there on the table. He would turn his attention across the table to his lovely wife.
"I've been thinking about the conversation that you and Tremaine had earlier. He said if you know anyone, that would be helpful. It just got me thinking about a few things..."

| She smoothed the napkin out on her lap and looked to him. "You can drink, if you want...it won't bother me." she had never, if he would remember, been much of a drinker. Tremaine had gotten her to try a Telosian Twist once, but she wasn't a huge fan of the drink. "I promise." She gave him a smile and she relaxed a little in the chair before she turned her gaze out the window.
Ilanah nodded as he spoke and she let out a soft sigh. "Got you thinking what?" She asked. Her thoughts when Tremaine had said that were about Kenas. She worried about him, especially after the Journal article. After all, he had helped her immeasurably the day of the bombing, and she just wanted to know that he was safe. More than that, she wanted to get him to the Libs to help lead.

| He wouldn't give it a second before he would respond to her little question.
"It got me thinking about my job. I hunt them down, intending to incarcerate them and turn them. What if I used my job....to help you?" He would leave it there, letting her take a moment to think over his proposition, of sorts. He was wanting to help in any way he could right now. Honestly, it was all he could come up with at the moment.

| There was a moment of hesitation on her part. She reached down and picked up her purse and removed the small device that Tremaine had given her from it and laid it on the table. "That was....my idea all along. I was hesitant to broach the subject with you too early. You seemed too hesitant." Ilanah paused for a moment. "This really is not a good place to talk about it though....just in case." she murmured as she sat her purse back down and glanced to Kal.
She gave him a small smile and reached across the table to take his hand.
