| "Of course we make weapons. We're a defense company. We're also branching out into the medical field as well," Stark commented. "But what is this charity you wish to work that involves minefields. As for people getting to know me... well, that option is always open. I suppose we could afford to get out more and mingle. I used to do such things quite often, you know. | Ana nodded and held out his shirt to help him put it on. "Senator Thanatos, some time ago, proposed a mobile Pediatric medical center. I remembered it this morning when I was looking at a baby book that Ina had picked up for me in Lorrd City. She wanted to build an orphanage on Chandrila, but the council would not permit it because of their population laws. Why couldn't we do that here...for her, of course...and I could help with it...."

Stark checked his image before the mirror and nodded in satisfaction. "I believe Senator Thanatos would appreciate the effort you would be putting in to such a project."

| Ana shrugged some and straightened his collar idly before she pulled away. "She's a nice woman, and I'm sure she cannot do everything that she wants to anymore. But aside from that, I love kids so...volunteering there would be a good choice for me." she said, still idly thinking it over.
"I don't want to spend my days here, constantly, doing nothing. You understand, right? Maybe after the baby comes I would be ok with that for a while...."

| "Well I have no objections to it, darling. If anything, I think it would do you a lot of good to be able to work with the populace on such a good cause." With his clothing fixed, he smoothed his shirt one last time before facing her. "And after the baby comes, you'll be able to work well on that. Just let me know what you'd need, love."

| Ana looked up at him and nodded some. "I do...." She said before she squeezed his hand and then let it go and wandered off from the bedroom. She walked down the corridor, taking her time mainly because she still struggled with where things were. The place was so big, she was unused to it and got turned around often. Luckily, she remembered well enough and found the door a bit later, and let herself in.

| When Stark met her in the indoor range, he was carrying both his DE-10 blaster pistol and a much smaller, lighter pistol, an ELG-3A, which he handed to Ana. "Your first lesson, love. Only point the weapon at something you fully intend to kill. If you don't intend to commit to pulling that trigger, don't even bother drawing it. Odds are that if it comes to a situation where you have to draw it, then your protection is dead and you'll need to do what you must to survive." Stark's words were serious, but this was a serious subject.

| Ana frowned some, taking a step back from him when he tried to hand her the weapon. After a moment of looking at it, she would take it, hesitantly. "It won't ever come to that point, I hope." She finally said with a sigh. "Especially if your shadowguard as good as you say they are, I trust them." She would look at the pistol again, eyeing it like it was something she didn't really want to even be touching. It was a necessity, just in case.

| "Even the Shadowguard are mortal, my love. They're the best of the best, well-trained and hardened... but you can never know what will happen. Now, hold it like this." Hefting his own, heavier weapon, he wrapped his dominant hand tightly around the grip, settling his free hand so that the palm cupped the fingers of his dominant hand, with the free hand's pointer finger out along the edge of the trigger guard.
"This position will allow you to have maximum stability. When you shoot, don't extend your arms fully outwards, leave them bent in slightly at the elbow. You'll be able to fire best like this."

| "Mortal, but really hard to kill, I imagine." She said, sort of reassuring herself. Ana watched him and bit her lower lip gently as she listened. This wasn't something she had ever wanted to do, or ever thought she would have to learn, but she did feel as though she needed to.

| "Now is the simple part. My weapon has a scope, but yours does not, so all you need do is aim down the rear sight posts and line them up with your front sight posts, and in turn, line that up on the target." He demonstrated with his own weapon. "Then the final part..." He squeezed the trigger once and a blue bolt emerged, flying down the length of the room to strike one of the soft foam targets and burning a hole in it.
"Now you try, my love. It's quite simple and there's no kick to it. Aim for the center of the target," the target was easy, made in the cut-out of a man. "Then fire. Control your breathing. Inhale, then exhale. Squeeze the trigger at the pause of your exhalation, prior to inhaling. Squeeze lightly, do not pull, or you'll jerk the weapon."

| Ana watched him, a little wide-eyed for a moment before he actually fired. "Uh....sure. Sure I can do that." It wasn't that she wouldn't try, she was just afraid to try. And her learning would likely make him feel better about leaving her alone, so she would do anything he needed.
She tried it, holding the weapon as instructed, then lining up the sights, and squeezing the trigger, but she stopped before it actually fired. "I can't....this is....is this even right?"

| Stark looked over her grip, adjusting her elbows slightly so they were closer in to her body, then raised her forearms a tad and checked how bent her elbows were. "Perfect, my love. Just aim center mass, remember your breathing and then trigger squeeze. This is largely to help with longer-distance shots, but the fundamentals remain the same throughout all shooting, more or less. Go ahead and give it a try."
