| The Jedi would sigh, as he nodded when Mira decided to take a nap. He was just about to put his arms behind his head when Mira leaned in for a gentle kiss on his lips. The adrenaline...the different kind...came rushing inside him. He was taken aback by what she just did. "Uh..." She did not just do that. The Jedi would get up and slowly walking after her. "Uh...what was that for?"

| She did just do that. She did, and instantly she felt bad about it. It had felt right to her immediately, hence why she did it, but she had temporarily forgotten about his place with the Jedi. "For you, but....maybe it was a mistake? I'm sorry." She replied a few moments later. "I shouldn't have done that."

| He raised his eyebrows, "You took it back because I was simply a Jedi? Maybe you forget that was the old ways." Jaden chuckled, as he would lean in for a kiss on her lips. It was a few moments before he would pull out, "Now, was that a mistake? Just because I'm a Jedi doesn't mean I don't have a feeling for you." Jaden would stand there, waiting for a response from Mira.

| "I don't know the Jedi rules, Jaden. I'm NRI....we don't....." She was silenced by another kiss from him. When he pulled away, Mira stared at him for a moment. She wondered how this would affect their friendship, and of course the working relationship that they were bringing between the NRI and Jedi. "I don't know, Jaden..." She was hesitating, though that was unusual for her. Mira generally always knew what she wanted and when she wanted it. She did know that she liked Jaden, she was just worrying about ruining things.

| "Is there anything that's stopping us from expressing our true feelings toward each other?" Jaden would simply ask Mira, "Because there isn't any that's stopping me from kissing you. Did you know that I've been wanting to kiss you for a while now? I was just afraid you didn't feel the same way." Mira's probably not used to seeing a Jedi not being worried. Some could say worrying's in the Jedi's DNA. Jaden would lean in for another kiss. He probably did this to avert the further hesitation on Mira's part. "If you don't feel comfortable being open about the relationship between us, we could keep it a secret for a while...that is, if you want to."

| Mira sighed and looked towards Jaden again. "Jaden I don't know. I really don't. I wonder why you didn't say something months ago...or years ago....or however long it has been?" She asked before she pulled her fingertips through her lengthy blond locks. She was a little torn, it was obvious, and she knew that now there was a chance that the friendship the pair had shared would be ruined. But it could also be replaced by something markedly better. When he leaned in to kiss her, she didn't stop him, but she did not kiss him for very long either before she pulled back to search his eyes for the truth that might lie there.

| The Jedi looked into Mira's eyes, "Perhaps because I was afraid that you do not return the feelings." Jaden would not say anything more, waiting for Mira to respond. He would understand if she didn't want to go down that path, but if she doesn't...then they could feel awkward when working together and Jaden didn't really want that. Jaden also would try his best to gauge his emotions if she does decide not to choose that path. It would certainly be painful, but time should be able to heal.

| Her first thought was that people would find out, then try and use one to get to the other. She didn't want that. Mira just looked at him for a moment before she sank down into a chair that was just nearby. "I haven't dated anyone in a really, really long time, Jaden." There was a reason for it. That reason was her job. The more recent jobs had been like the ones with Dimitri. Undercover. And putting her in a position that a boyfriend might not necessarily like. And it wasn't that she didn't want to be with him, she was just wondering....how.

| The Jedi would slowly take a knee when Mira was sitting nearby, "Well, me neither. But I think you're worth it." Jaden would look into her eyes, waiting for an answer from her. The reason he hasn't dated wasn't because he was a Jedi but because his job involves dangerous missions. A girlfriend might not like that happening almost every day. Jaden was hoping they'd be able to figure something out.

| As he dropped down onto his knee, Mira sighed. "We can try....it wouldn't hurt to try. I just don't want you to get hurt." She murmured as she reached out and brushed her fingertips against his cheek. "Just promise that you won't....I still have to do my job, ok?" "So.....how long before we're....wherever we are going?"

| The Jedi would simply smile once Mira finally agreed to give this a shot. He leaned in for another short kiss after Mira had brushed her fingertips against his cheek. "Don't worry, I'm more than willing to give this a shot. I know whatever risks I have to take for being with you. Same goes with you, you know the risks of being around a Jedi. I'm glad we're giving this a shot." Jaden would let out a sigh before speaking once again, "Well, it could take a while before we get to Yavin Four. Just to clarify this, do you want our relationship to be kept a secret for security reasons? I'm fine with public knowledge, so either way's fine with me."

| "I don't know that it is a good idea to tell the whole galaxy yet." She murmured. There was still that lingering fear that someone would find out and use them against each other. Mira didn't want to give up her job, and she definitely didn't want Jaden to give up his. "I just think that it would be safer that way." Though she wondered how long something like that could really be kept a secret.

| "Alright, then consider it a secret." He grinned, leaning in for another kiss. The Jedi would pull it back, looking around. That was when the Jedi takes himself off the ground and go about the ship and look around to see what needs to be upgraded or repaired. It'd be good to have the YT-1300 upgraded in order to be very effective against fighter attacks. After several hours of traveling in hyperspeed, the freighter dropped out of hyperspace and Yavin Four was in sight. The ship went ahead and landed in the docking bay owned by the Jedi Academy after he had transmitted the codes.
