| Her statements were broadcast via the holo net as she was still in the Monor II system.
"Senators, while the issue of changing the economic situation on Trandosha is important and along with the resolution against slavery currently pending in the Senate chamber, looks to be one that the Senate is addressing - as it stands now, slavery is legal within the Empire and it doesn't seem right to deny this Senator entrance when according to Imperial decree, he has committed no crime."
"Some may not like it Senators, but until proven guilty of any charges - there isn't basis for denying Senator-Elect Mrash entry into the Senate. There have been several suggestions brought forth before this body to consider implementing in regards to Trandosha and the slave trade and I encourage my fellow Senators to pursue them wholeheartedly, but to also allow the Senator from Trandosha entrance."

| Miss volFyr speaks the truth.
I re cast my vote for In favor. So that Senator-Elect Mrash may speak on behalf of the trandoshian people.

| I would like to echo Senator volFyr in noting that Trandosha has done nothing illegal and, in fact, performs a valuable service for the Empire throughout the galaxy. It is troubling to see the Senator-elect of Trandosha attacked for this reason. It is the opinion of the chair that Mrash's support for an institution that is necessary for the success of the Empire and the prosperity of its worlds―an institution from which all Imperial worlds benefit, including those who look down upon it―is reason enough to support his membership, not oppose it. And I would encourage those Senators who do oppose the slave trade to be sure not to undermine the industrial or military capacity of the Empire. This will be regarded as what it is: treason. And will be punished accordingly.
In the meantime, as it seems there is no substantive objection to the Senator-elect, I ask him to repeat after me as I administer the oath of office:
"I, (state your name), do solemnly swear, under penalty of treason, that I will represent the people of (state your constituency) to the best of my ability, that I will bear true allegiance to the Empire, its Emperor, and its policies, that I will uphold and abide the Imperial Charter, that I will preserve and protect the principles of the New Order, and that I will defend all of these from all enemies of the Empire, both foreign and domestic. So help me."

I would also like to thank the Grand Vizer in his continued enlightenment and understanding of the necessary services that Trandosha has provided to the Empire. Those Senators though that have offered jobs for my fellow Trandoshans, I will speak with them on your behalf. I am sure that there are a few clans on my world that would gladly accept those jobs.

| With all due respect, Grand Vizier, Ralltiir has moved that Mrash's membership be tabled until Sluis Van's investigation into his potential criminal deeds has been completed, and Garos IV seconded the motion. I ask again that Mrash not be admitted to the Senate (not beyond observer status, at least) until Sluis Van has completed its investigation. I would also like the chair to note in the record that Mrash has not answered questions from Ralltiir, Anobis, Naboo, and Sluis Van and Senate procedure requires him to do so before he is admitted.

| Prehaps the Senator of Ralltiir is hard at hearing, as I have already answered many questions multiple times as to how I view slavery now, as well as how my people view it and their actions upon it. I have also said that while the Hall of Records on Trandosha would be open and give the documents to the Empire should they open an investigation on my background, the Hall of Records will remain closed and unavailable to the Senator of Sluis Van, which means that anything the Senator states in his report is no less slander and a malicious attack upon my self due to my past, and nothing short of a vendetta against myself by the Senator due to his misguided and misinformed view on his families past.
As I have already taken the oath that the Chair has oversee, I request that the Chair step in and stop this assault and defamation of my character merely because the Senators of Ralltiir and Sluis Van seem to have their own personal vendettas against my joining of this Imperial Senate.

| Senator Fitzgerald, I apologize for holding this matter in the Senate for so long, but the investigation has been completed. My uncle, Juren Domon, was indeed abducted while on Praesitlyn by a Trandoshan raiding party. Existing holo-recording, while not in the best placed angle, does identify Senator-elect Mrash as one of the culprits of Juren Domon's abduction, as well as several others from the small settlement that was raided. With this information, I leave it to the chair to decide on Senator-elect Mrash's eligibility, but Sluis Van will not support his entry.
Toben Domon Senator, Sluis Van

| Now that the chair has had the opportunity to review the Senate transcript, and now that the Senate is re-convened, the ruling of the chair is that the swearing-in of Mr. Mrash was in error, as he had not, at that point, satisfied the requirements for admission; namely, answering all questions that are put to him. If, in fact, there are oustanding questions for Mr. Mrash, Senators are invited to re-state them now. If, however, no questions are raised at this time, the applicant shall be sworn in as Senator of the Myrtaranor Sector.
So, your questions, Senators?

| If I am to understand correctly, the Senator-elect still intends to conduct the slaving business. While I understand that this is crucial to the workforce of the Empire, I am curious if the Senator-elect will place any planets off-limits to his slaving guilds; namely those planets with good standing in the Empire.

| Senator Domon, if a world is in good standing with the Empire then that world has no need to fear of any Slaving Guilds from arriving on their world. Of course many of the worlds in good standing with the Empire are human aligned worlds, which of course we do not sell into slavery.

| I have come a bit late to this discussion, but I would ask the Senator-elect, what precisely, aside from slavery of course, can Trandosha offer to the Empire to increase productivity? I am a large fan of having productive worlds represented here and I am curious what can be offered.

| Dosha, as we call our world in our tongue, already exports slaves and mercenaries to the Empire. Mr. Stark, Dosha boosts the productivity of other worlds in the Empire, that is what we offer to the Empire.

| Senator-elect, there are a number of ways the Empire gains slaves; I am fairly certain that Trandosha, or Dosha if you prefer I use your native word, is only one part. Mercenaries and slaves do not boost the economy of every world. I do not say this to detract from your world's contributions, mind you, but there must be more you have to offer than those two base items. Do you have centers of learning? Massive foundries for productivity? How much can you offer the Empire in taxes?
