| My my, A trandoshan. I've met a few of your species before, they weren't all too friendly, but then again with what happened to them I don't say I blame them. Anyways, I would like to know your personal feelings on the Human High Culture Effect, along with "Non-Human" Senators, Like Senator Toben Domon, from Sluis Van. And I would also like to hear your rise to power on Trandosha, as Senator Cambrist asked.
Slai-Fon Youngblood, Senator of Anobis, and the Bright Jewel sector Chairman of ISEC (Imperial Senate Ethic's Committee.) Chairman & CEO of K/Y deep.

| "Ah, my rise to power. Well, that one is a very enjoyable story indeed. It would seem that our previous leader brought about his own downfall, the people thought that he wasnt doing enough and had greatly displeased them. During a hunt he met with an unfortunate ending, although I dont know the exact details, I can say this much, the gizzard was very tasty raw. The people though decided that it would be in their best interest for myself to lead the clans. As for the Human High Culture, whats not to like, you humans have brought much commerce to our world, if there's one thing about the Human High Culture us Trandoshians like, its that you humans never seem to not need a supply of Wookies. Though, my personal feelings on Non-Humans Senators, I believe you brought up a Mr. Toben Domon, that name does seem familiar, I think I sold another Mr. Domon to a Hutt as a worker in my younger days, or was a Mr. Oorosio, but I digress, I have heard little in the way of anything being accomplished by Senator Domon, so I dont have much to say on that matter."

| Ralltiir will support no prospective member of the Senate who endorses a policy of material support for the slave trade.

| Despite your views on slavery, Mr. uh....uhm.....Senator-elect, every world has the right to be represented in the Imperial Senate. It is good to know that you are at least honest about your beliefs. So far.
Welcome to the Senate.

| I'm afraid I award no points for being honest about one's beliefs. That's the minimum qualification I expect of a Senator, and when these beliefs are so repugnant to the concept of individual liberty I think it's important they not be represented in a democratic assembly where issues of life and liberty are decided on a daily basis. I remain opposed.

| I am shocked and appalled by your statement Senator Fitzgerald. Am I to accept that you have more of a right in speaking in this Senate hall than I do merely because my youth was spent as a slave trader, one of only two job profession my world is reduced to because of Senators like you that would rather see Trandoshans pushed away from any galactic stage.

| Do you support the resolution before the Senate now regarding the slave trade?

| I find that this question of yours is in fact a trap to bring about my true beliefs on the current resolution. So, I shall respond that I will remain neutral on this resolution and make a choice when more information is presented by both sides before I made a decision.

| I said a moment ago that honesty about one's beliefs is the minimum qualification I expect of a Senator. Strike two.
So let me put it more directly: if admitted to this Senate to act in Trandosha's interest, will you pursue an agenda that is amenable to the slave trade or hostile to it? Presumably, Trandosha has sent you here to advocate for one or the other, not to remain neutral.

| Just because you expect it as a minimum qualification, does not mean it is always going to happen. I'll remind the Senator of Ralltiir, that there is a difference about being honest about one's beliefs, and one speaking those beliefs to allow another to use it as ammunition in their own personal attack on the first just because they do not like their beliefs. I must say that for the opinion that I was told of you Senator Fitzgerald, I can see that it was a lie, just from the fact that you would rather attack me personally because of my beliefs that see a Sector have any kind of representation in this Senate.
As for your constant berating attacks on my beliefs and your question poised to entrap me just for your satisfaction. I am here to listen to the will of the people of the Mytaranor Sector. When it comes to the time for a vote on just a piece of legislation, then I will vote the way that those that elected me to this position decide, until there I refuse to answer anymore of your questions that have only served as a failure to entrap me to say what you wanted said just so you could continue this petty disagreement over the fact that us Trandoshans are forced into being slave traders because of the failed Republic Government that paid more attention to the Wookies than they did to the Trandoshans.

| Anyone else have any words to say about this fine specimen? Honest is a good thing. And seeing as our alien Senator's are quiet low. I'm going to vote In Favor, besides I think the good Trandoshan People should be heard, as long as you mind your self around the Senate. Added (17 Jul 2011, 6:16 PM) --------------------------------------------- Ladies and Gentlemen. I know this senator appoint of The Mytaranor System may seem like a bad choice to allow into the senate due to what he's done in the past, but the past is the past. We cannot simply label him a bad person due to what he's done. It's part of his culture. Like part of the Anobisian culture was to go out into the wilderness, and prove to the rest of the world that we do not simply have to rely on codependency. So I say to those who may oppose this fine Trandoshan, give him a chance.
Slai-Fon Youngblood, Senator of Anobis, and the Bright Jewel sector Chairman of ISEC (Imperial Senate Ethic's Committee.) Chairman & CEO of K/Y deep.
