| I have another question—for Senators Thanatos and Youngblood. You both voted for a resolution that included this statement: "The Senate encourages its members to oppose the membership of any prospective Senator or Representative who endorses, participates, or has participated in the interstellar trade of slaves." But both of you are supporting Mrash's membership? Do you not agree with the statement you voted in favor of?

| I am a firm believer in equal rights. While I do agree with the statement's in your Resolution, greatly, Senator Fitzgerald. I also agree with the fact that any planet that wishes to join the empire should, and have it's voice heard within the senate halls.
Do I agree with the way Trandoshan's make their living? No. Can I try to urge them to change? I could, but it'd be like trying to push a bull bantha, no matter how hard I try, they won't budge.
So as long as the people of the Mytaranor sector want our help, and help improve our galaxy as much as You, and I do, I say we welcome them.
