| She sat back down on the bed, her hazel gaze still glued to him. Ilanah really didn't remember much of what he had told her, which was probably for the best. She wouldn't have wanted to remember her leaving him the first time anyway. And she convinced herself that Tremaine had lied to her about that too.
"You have all of this power that I don't really understand. So yes, I'm afraid. I know you won't hurt me or Caden, I understand that." The fear was mostly from the confusion.
"So you have to go?" She asked him softly before she glanced down at her hands in her lap. "To hunt down Tremaine?" Ilanah finally looked back up, and when she did was when she heard the knock at the door.

| He would give her a simple nod, responding to her questions, "Yes, I do. He is now an enemy of the Empire, and I have to do my job." He, too, heard the knock at the door. He had no idea who could have been at their door. He would look at Lana, before getting up off the bed and heading out of their room, through the hall and down the stairs to the front door.
Upon opening the door, he saw someone that he hadn't expected to see back at his place. Tremaine's fiance. His eyes focused on her, wondering why she was there.
"What are you doing back here?"
