| Stark pointed to one of the empty walls with a brief yawn. "Recessed rotating bookshelves behind that wall there, love. Press the wood paneling that looks like a flower and they rotate out. There are four of them in here; a miniature library on its own. As for you lifting heavy boxes... I get the feeling that even if I said no, you'd do it anyway my love. I tell you, I can't wait until I am back from this trip."

| Ana sighed and glanced to him. "I will get someone to lift it for me." she said with a shake of her head. She understood why he was saying that, he didn't want her risking their child. She just hadn't thought of that consequence, which was quite stupid of her.
"Must you really go? So close to the wedding? What if something happens?"

| "You just told me not to shirk responsibility, my love," Stark said with a laugh. "I must go. Duty to my world demands it. Besides, what is going to happen? The odds of their being another massive uprising of drones is extremely small, my love." That too, was said with a laugh before he grew serious. "You will be safe here, very safe, I promise you. I will be just as safe on Imperial Center."

| She shook her head. "I know, I know. I'm sorry...." Ana said as she laid back down against him. It wasn't that late and she wasn't as tired anymore because of their conversation and of course the news she had read. "No shirking....no guilting....I'll be fine." She smiled warmly and tried to relax some.
"There are other dangers there, you know. Like....politicians and....pretty girls with titles." Ana joked some as she picked the book back up and turned the pages carefully and then stopped about halfway through the book and started reading.

| "Ana, you worry far, far too much." He watched her read and and smiled. "Everything will be just fine. I still have a few more days before I intend to depart, so let's just make the most of it while we can, right?" He closed his eyes for a brief moment and then looked back at her. "There's not a woman in the world who could take my attention away from you."

| Ana had fallen asleep, for the second night in a row, against Alyn's chest. She believed him, of course, but she had also just been joking about him meeting a pretty girl with a title. He was too in love, it seemed, and he was enamored with their unborn son. Not that she could blame him, she felt the same way.
When she woke the next morning, she untangled herself from him gently so that she would not wake him. Ana slipped her robe on and left the room quietly and went downstairs to find a cup of tea. Once she was in the kitchen, she suddenly found herself being fussed over, which was something she had a hard time dealing with. After she was able to shoo some people away at least, she fixed a tray of breakfast, with coffee and went back to their bedroom to take it to Alyn. He had said to make the best of the days before he had to leave, so she intended to, and wanted to keep that time as normal as possible.

| Stark was already up by the time she returned, preferring to go topless in his room; modesty covered by a pair of forest green sleep pants. He was conducting his stretches when Ana walked in and he greeted her with a smile. "I take it you slept well, darling? And is that a fresh kaf I smell? Absolutely delightful at this hour. I must say, you do make a good housewife." He grinned with the jest and moved to hug her.

| She sat the tray down. "I am a maid, you know." Ana joked in return and let him draw her into an embrace. "I would be a wonderful housewife, quite frankly, if anyone would let me do things for myself without me having to argue with them about it. Does everyone here think I will break, Alyn?" She looked up at him briefly.
"And yes, I made the kaf myself. Sadly, I had to knock your kitchen maid unconscious in order to do so."

| "Somehow, I almost expect to see the maid truly knocked out. You know, dear, that the people here are there to help you. That's their job, my love. There's no need to do absolutely everything yourself. Granted, you are pregnant and I don't want you to break." He grinned at her again. "But for self-made kaf, it certainly smells delicious." Pouring a cup, he took a sip and then wrinkled his nose. "Tastes horrible though." Looking over at her slyly, he shot her a wink.

| "I am not honestly sure that i will ever get used to other people doing things for me, Alyn. Besides, I like doing things for you." She frowned some when he said the drink was horrible. "Now, I know that's not true." She said as she took a sip from his cup herself. "Lies....all lies...." Ana murmured beofre she untangled herself from Alyn again.
"So I decided something. You're going to hate it, but you said that you wanted to help and make the most of our time before your trip...."

| "You are going to help me pick flowers for the wedding." She said, matter of factly. "Someone is bringing samples by in a few hours. And then....you will need to pick the wine that will go with dinner....after we decide what dinner will be." She smirked at him some and then sat on the bed near to the tray and sipped on her cup of tea.

| Stark coughed to hide a grin, then looked quite solemnly at Ana. "I do believe I hear the bed calling my name for another six to eight hours, but of course I can forgo that to help you pick out flowers. I'd say go with pink." He was quite jesting, of course. "The meals will be catered, so we'll have to review the guest list. I believe that the wine will be the most simple to pick out, of course."

| "If anyone is going to stay in this bed for that long, its going to be me, Alyn stark. Your baby is wearing me out." She smiled warmly and nodded. "Pink? I was thinking reds....since everything else is black, white and silver. But, we can decide when we see what he brings." Ana would slide off of the bed and find something for herself to wear before she started to get dressed.
"And you have to pick the wine, because I cannot." She smiled some and pulled her dark hair out of the way so that Alyn could zip the simple dress she had put on.

| Moving to zip her dress up, Stark paused long enough to kiss the side of her neck before finishing the zip-up. "Red would go better. Pink was largely a jest. As for the wine... you have a point. The problem is that a large number of meals will differ. Thankfully, Senator Domon is the only non-Human so his plate will be perhaps the easiest to procure for. Perhaps a subtle red wine would be best overall."
