Ana smiled and turned her head so she could catch his lips in a kiss. "I appreciate the help, despite your concerns about it. I understand that most people will choose different things for dinner, but it only makes sense to have something kind of neutral. And perhaps a couple of different choices.

It was to the point where Ana wanted, so very badly, for it to be the day. The day she would get to marry Alyn. Also, once they were married, she wouldnt have to make any more decisions on what color and this and that.

"Soon my love, we shall be married. Soon enough indeed. Then you'll have nothing to do but spend time picking out curtains and deciding what you want for the nursery. Fortunately, that will be an easy task for a pregnant lady." He stretched again and moved towards the closet. "At least today is bound to be a rather calm day; you'll have plenty of time with your friends."

"Truthfully, I much prefer the time with you." Ana said. She had never had much time for friends on Naboo, so having them now tended to be a bit overwhelming. "I do imagine we will be seeing a good deal more of Jendos, at least until Elena returns home in a couple of weeks." Ana commented as she sat on the edge of the bed and waited for him to get ready.

A tap on the door and a few words from Mrs. Miteya told her that the florist was here, and then the caterers would come after that, she was pretty sure. The older woman had the stressful details under control, and she just let Ana decide on what she liked. It was going to be beautiful, that much Mrs. Miteya was going to be sure of. Not too extravagant, because in knowing Ana and her simple tastes, she wanted it to be perfect for them both.

Rolling his eyes, Stark sighed. "Jendos is going to get himself in trouble with that one. Ah, well. As long as he's happy, I suppose, then we can hardly warn him off. Nonetheless, the time I spend here with you will tide me over until I return from Imperial Center. I don't believe it will be that long that I am distant from you."

With word that the florist had arrived, Stark finished his dressing and offered Ana his arm. "Shall we go forth and wage our war against the multitude of decisions awaiting us?"

"I doubt that he will get into too much trouble, unless he falls for her. Elena isn't the type to settle. Her attention span is short. That is what I am worried about." Ana said, which she probably should have told him earlier. Ana frowned, realizing her error in not doing so. "So maybe we should say something to him."

"Sure. I think I still have my heart set on red flowers though. Or maybe white." She sighed and slipped her arm around his and started walking.

"Perhaps... perhaps indeed. Jendos isn't too likely to settle down offhand either." Stark paused for a moment, "Nonetheless, I will speak with him. As for flowers, we can certainly do red ones if you like. Red would offset the dresses and decor far better than white, I daresay."

She kept her arm gently linked with his and offered him a small smile. "You've been paying attention?" She asked, a little surprised that he had been noticing the plans that were going on. From what she knew, most men paid no attention to detail. So far she had chosen white linens and chair covers with black sashes, white china with silver edging, simple but beautiful crystal, and white candles. So red flowers would truly just set all of that off, though white would have been quite stunning as well. She debated the point in her head as they walked to the parlor.

Upon arrival, she was met with a rather overpowering barrage of floral scents. "Oh dear...." Ana murmured before she smiled to Alyn. "Are you sure you want to help?" She asked before she walked in. Ina was the only of her friends there, and she was glaring disapprovingly at a rather hideous arrangement of flowers. As soon as she noticed Ana, Ina set in on a tirade.

"Ana, do you know what these are?" Ina said, pointing to the ugly flowers. "They're endangered. And rare....and poisonous!" Ana blinked for a moment, unsure of which of those things was infuriating Ina more; the rare and endangered or poisonous. Her unvoiced question was quickly answered by her friend. "I am not sure what kind of florist you've hired here, but this could poison everyone that sits near them.

"It's alright...." Ana said, calming her down. Her gaze went to the florist and the woman whisked the arrangement out of the room quickly. "See? It's fine. They were quite ugly anyway. I'm thinking....red." She smiled some. "Like those ones." She indicated another arrangement that was a spray of red roses and other smaller flowers.

"Of course I've been paying attention," Stark commented lightly. "If I didn't, you'd be able to hold it over my head years from now. Jendos said it best, 'women don't get hysterical, they get historical.' When they arrived, Stark looked curiously at the dangerous flowers. "I'll have to have a word with the florist. Perhaps that was done unthinkingly, but it never hurts to be sure. Far too clumsy to be an assassination attempt." His voice trailed off for a moment as Ana drew his attention of the alternate arrangement of flowers.

"Now those, my love would go quite well. Are you sure you wouldn't like something more grand?"

Ana paused a moment. "Oh Alyn....you don't think I would do that to you, really, do you?" She asked, honestly concerned that he even remotely thought that she could be so petty.

She was genuinely unconcerned about the dangerous flowers. Most flowers were poisonous in some form, but Ina's alarm was enough for her to make the florist take the arrangement away. "I doubt that it was, Alyn." she commented off-handedly as her gaze went back to the red flowers.

"More grand? You don't like these?" She asked, concerned, as she looked back to the red arrangement. Ana hadn't wanted anything too huge for the tables, even though they would be elevated so the guests at the round tables could still converse, and not through a ton of flowers. "I mean, I suppose they could make them a bit....fluffier...."

"My love, that was more of a jest than anything. You must learn not to take everything I say so seriously." He offered her a smile and then turned back to the flowers. "You can never tell, sometimes, my love. Lorrdian politics can be... complicated." It was a lot more troubling than he'd admitted to Ana that there were naysayers of his wedding within House Malos. He'd counted on his old house to back him; Jendos alone was not necessarily enough, but he still enjoyed a majority support.

"Fluffier would be a little better, if I may say so. I want this to be perfect, my love, for you and for me. Of course... tasteful can be smaller at times as well."

Ana sighed and slid an arm around his waist. "Alyn....no one is trying to kill me, or you, with flowers. Relax. Why in the world would....well, I guess I can see why someone would. But exotic flowers to kill a common maid? Please, that is so last year." she joked as she fussed with the red flowers with her fingertips.

"I guess fluffier. Could we add some lilies, perhaps? That will fill this out. Maybe some sprays of arentheas?" Her gaze found the floral assistant, who was scribbling things down in a hurry to make sure he got all of her ideas down. "And the vases....." She said, looking at them all carefully. "This one, I think." Ana said as she pointed to a tall, narrow crystal one. "It will keep the arrangement high enough for people to not have to talk through it, and then we can put the candles at different heights below it." She said, sounding pretty decisive.

"I'm sure that it will be perfect, Alyn. More than I need, honestly. I would be happy with a simply back yard wedding picnic and wildflowers." She said as the assistant showed her a couple of bouquets. That, she was less decisive about.

Stark chuckled slightly at her jest. Granted, while it had elements of amusement to it, Stark would not risk her life, or their son's life, on random chance. While she spoke of the varied flowers she wished to add, or the vases in which she wished to place them, Stark checked over each one, seeing if it would match with the wedding arrangements and agreed accordingly. "We certainly need some native Naboo flowers as well," Stark interjected at one point.

"A backyard wedding and wildflowers," He smiled at her and pulled her close. "My love... some days, I truly enjoy the way your mind works."

"I thought that the way my mind works is why you fell in love with me, Mr. Stark." Ana smirked some and glanced up at him. "And yes, I've already thought about that. Lotuses. Although I worry about them getting here and not being ruined. It is doable, isn't it?" She asked them both, though neither was truly sure.

"How about this? White lillies from Lorrd, white arentheas, lotus from Naboo, and red rose petals sprinkled around the base of the vases for a pop of color?" Ana suggested. In her mind, it looked quite lovely, but there still was the issue of getting flowers fresh from her home planet.

"It's quite doable, my love. Your mind works quite well. You'd be surprised; when one has money, it seems quite easy to ship flowers." He considered her choice of flowers and nodded slowly. "I like it. I like it quite a bit. Getting the flowers shipped here from Naboo will be rather simple. A refrigerated transport should do nicely."

Ana nodded. "Then that is what I want. All white, please." She said and the florist wrote down what she was telling him. "I'd like my bouquet to be the lotus flowers and lilies also, if that's alright." Ana said hesitantly. A mix of the two seemed to be quite perfect to her. "What else, Alyn?" She asked, making sure she hadn't forgotten anything.

Her gaze sought out Ina, who had settled herself contently across the room, and she was drawing in a sketch book. She looked back to Alyn and smiled some. "I think that is all of it, isn't it? Ceremony flowers, reception flowers....uhm...."
