Despite the fact that they hadn't known each other for that long, he knew what she liked, it seemed, and what she didn't. | "I dare say that one more part of preparing for the wedding is complete." He wrapped an arm around her and pulled her closer against him to help warm her. "Soon enough, we will be married. Just don't worry about anything you hear and in the meantime... keep your thoughts happy and keep yourself as stress free as you can. No getting cold feet before the big day, right?"

| "Are you afraid I am going to run away, Alyn Stark?" Ana asked curiously as she looked up to him with a warm smile on her face. She stroked a fingertip down his cheek and turned in his arms so she could face him. "I will admit there were a couple of times when I did think about it. But then I realized a few things. One, I am not even sure how to get out of here. Two, there is nowhere in the galaxy I would rather be than here. I love Lorrd and even more than that, I love you Alyn. So no, I'm not going to get cold feet."

| She smiled some and nodded. "I know, but you know me. And he knows me. I worry needlessly and I'm sensitive, moreso now than ever. I blame you for that, by the way." She smirked some as she teased him. The truth was, she was loving every second of it. Being pregnant especially, but even planning their wedding.

| She rested her hand on his. "It is good blame. I don't think I would have ever had kids had I not met you. I probably would have stayed on Naboo with Artemis forever." Ana said quietly. It was true, certainly.
"Alyn , you should just call Senator Lekpin. Better yet, have him over. He will understand for certain. I know I told you that it was fine and I understood why you needed to make this trip, but to be honest, I'm afraid of you leaving."

"though you may have been happy in your own right with Representative Vanden. I just see you being much more happy now." Stark closed his eyes for a moment as she brought up Lekpin. "Representative Lekpin isn't quite ready to re-assume his duties though. That's why I am holding on just a tad longer. You have no reason to be afraid, my love. It's a simple jaunt to Imperial Center, the same as I have done many times before."

| "All I am saying is that anything could happen a any time. I worry." She knew she shouldn't be, because it was stressful and bad for their baby, and she didn't want to risk him either. Since the wedding details were almost finished though, she could throw herself into workin on their nursery, and also the charity she had been wanting to start.
"Well if he would come, fabulous. If not, another time. And I will meet him at the wedding, so it will be fine."

It's quite safe, I assure you, especially with the amount of security I take with me. It's quite okay. As for you, you will be most safe here with the Shadowguard that I leave behind. | She shook her head some. "I am not worried about how safe I am here, Alyn. I know that I am, and I don't even know what kind of security and defense you have set up. I know that I am safe even if I am out with just Irlilia. It's you I worry about, but, I don't want to bother you about that." She said as she looked up at him.
"I'll be fine. I have plenty to do. I couldn't sleep the other night and started perusing the holoweb and got some ideas for the nursery....and kind of started thinking of ordering things for it. And....then talking someone into painting for me."

| "You worry far too much about me, my darling. I am more than capable of taking care of myself. I survived the Clone Wars, after all." Stark laughed and shrugged. "If I can weather some of the worst the Separatists could throw at me, then a simple trip to Imperial Center isn't likely to finish me off.
"As for the nursery, feel free to outfit it with whatever you like. I see no issue with spending, after all. As for painting it, there are a multitude of people within the castle that could assist you, unless of course you'd like to wait until I get back, in which case I'll gladly do the painting."

| "I worry about you because I care, Alyn. You'll either get used to it, or get cold feet yourself." she joked with him some. "I am pretty sure that you will choose the former, of course. You're so calm all the time.' She didn't expect she would ever see him truly angry. "Perhaps that military training you have is what did that.' she said. "I was only 12 then, by the way." Ana smirked.
"So you decide, would you rather paint yourself, or let someone else do it. As the father of our little bean here, that decision is entirely up to you."
