| "Ha. Such a youngster. I'm actually rather glad you were spared the greater understanding of how horrible the Clone Wars were. Granted, understanding now is one thing, but living through it directly is a little different. Perhaps it is the military training, or perhaps it's my dislike of getting riled up. I don't anger easily, at least not to a noticeable point.
"As for our son's room, I would quite happily paint it myself. However, it is a rather large nursery and as such, I'll likely enlist some help when I do paint it."

| "It is hardly my fault that you are an old man, Alyn." Ana smirked some and looked up at him. She rested her palm on his chest gently. "But I know what you mean. war is a horrible thing. I am glad that you were able to handle it and survive it." Ana cleared her throat and glanced away for a moment.
"Well I will leave the chore for you then, Alyn. I would do it myself, but I am not supposed to, you know." She said before turning her attention back to him.

| "Hardly a chore, and there's nothing to imply that you must paint it on your own. As such, I would be a terrible husband-to-be if I made my lovely bride do such work." He let the talk of war go, feeling that she wasn't wanting to continue that angle of conversation. "Have you decided what color you'd like the walls to be yet?"

| "I have some ideas, but we really need to choose together. It's not something I should, or want, to do alone." She explained. "As you keep reminding me, he is -our- son, so we need to do it together." Ana said softly as she rubbed his chest lightly with her fingertips through the fabric of his shirt. "Is that alright?" She wasn't, despite how busy he could be, going to let him slack off in raising their child together. She didn't want some stranger doing it for them, and she knew she wanted him to have a strong father figure in his life, which was something neither Ana nor Alyn ever had.

| "Of course we can choose them together, my love. However, I can hardly come up with a good set of colors without your input first. I'm not the best at decor, I'll admit, and I'd likely choose something terrible like brown and green or perhaps yellow and pink." Stark laughed again, still looking down at her. "As I said darling, once Lekpin takes over my current duties, I will be more than happy and able to assist with the job of fatherhood."

| She raised an eyebrow as she looked up at him. "...Assist with the job of fatherhood? Whom do you intend on assisting with the fathering of our child?" Ana asked, amused at his seeming error. With a sigh, she continued. "I was actually thinking celery green walls, dark brown wood, and cream." She said idly. They were just thoughts. It was likely that she would end up choosing even more neutral than that; cream and brown with just a subtle color as an accent.
"Anyway, what other wedding plans do we need to attend before you leave? We still need to get you packed, by the way. I hope you'll let me do that for you."

| "Well, you know what I mean." Stark waved his hand as if washing the statement away. "Not quite how I intended for it to sound. I would have put in light blue walls with a cream ceiling. A little different from your idea, but still matching in some ways. What do you think? And offhand... other than organizing the guest list, I don't see much else that needs to be done that isn't already taken care of. As for packing, well my love, you need to relax. I have been packing myself up for a good many years." Stark laughed and patted her cheek. "I do appreciate the offer though."

| "That would be fine with me too, darling." she murmured. "We have time to worry about it later, I imagine. I did kind of already choose a crib that I absolutely love though, so...." Ana smiled some and turned her attention back to him. "I am relaxed. Do I seem otherwise?" She asked. "Besides, I like to do things for you. Haven't we had this talk before, Alyn?"
"As for the guests...you know everyone, so I will leave all of that to you and Mrs. Miteya as far as seating arrangements go. Though I would like Senator Vanden and Davon at the first table, if you could."

"And yes, I found one I liked, but I didn't order it. In that shop in Lorrd City? It would have been suspicious and the whole of Lorrd would have known our secret by now. I am not entirely convinced that would be a bad thing, though."

| "Well then, it will be me and you, Representative Vanden and his son and Jendos Merced at the head table, then, along with your friends, of course, I assume. I doubt I'll be seating any of the people from the Senate up there with us offhand. Perhaps Lekpin as well, due to his familiarity with me.
"So this crib," he asked, "We can undoubtedly purchase it easily enough. The question is, would you prefer to wait until after the wedding or sooner?"

| Ana looked up at him. "I'd want you to see it first. to see if you like it. It's nothing too grand. Perhaps fancier than I would have chosen if I was living in the Lake Country, of course. I feel that I have rather simple tastes though. Our little prince probably deserves better than that." She commented idly.
She would snap her attention back to what he had said about the wedding after a few moments of idleness, however. "I think that sounds fine. Whatever you would like to do is fine with me. If i knew any of these people better, I would take care of it. I do know better than to seat people together who cannot get along though. Like putting Senator Thanatos with that awful Governor Oswaldt, if he was coming. I've seen him in the Senate halls on Coruscant and he's just..." She stopped there, sure that Alyn would understand where she was going with that.

| "Oswaldt is a scumbag," Stark said cheerfully. "I don't think he's coming, anyway. He's too busy blathering about some anti-alien propaganda. I doubt he'll be attending. Thanatos should be fine with her husband. I'll seat them near Domon and Ryuun. They're all rather calm people, there. Youngblood and his sons, too. I figure I'll keep the Lorrdian nobility separate from the Senators; they can always mingle later."
Switching his train of thought, he came back to the crib. "He does deserve a rather nice crib," Stark said in all seriousness. "When you call him a prince, you aren't quite wrong. He'll be the heir to a business empire."

| Ana shook her head some. "No...I'm not wrong. It's just a term of endearment. And much better than calling him a bean, I think." She smiled a little. "Some people are just so stuck on titles, though we've gotten a great deal of that lately, haven't we? Wouldn't it be something of a shock if it turned out that my father was some sort of high noble? I rather doubt it though. But it would be quite amusing to cause an uproar." Ana actually laughed about it and shook her head again.
"Speaking of...can we still do that? Find him, I mean? Or try to?"

| "Oh, I know. I know. But in all reality, he'll be a very wealthy boy. I want to be able to teach him the value of money so he doesn't come to feel entitled. It's a value that we must instill in him so he learns properly. As for your father, it is still my intent to find him. It would be rather interesting if he turned out to be nobility; it would certainly stuff a sock in Cambrist's gob. That would be a pleasant day indeed."
