| A small sigh would escape her lips. "Truly, nobility is a title for some, a demonstration of power and wealth. But in reality, having a title means nothing if you are not a good person. A Queen is no more than a tyrant unless she is good to her people regardless of rank." She said, unsure if it made sense. "I suppose that it is all a matter of decorum, generosity, honestly, and kindness."
"But yes, our son will be all of those things. Kind, generous, genuinely caring and considerate. And probably very, very handsome and smart."

| "Nobility is what it is, at the end of the day. It's nothing exceptionally special. More of a curse than a blessing at times," Stark said with a shrug. | "If politics are your forte, then you should be better suited to teach our son than I am," Stark joked. "I've made few friends within the Senate and I fear my way of approaching things tends to be a little less diplomatic than most; probably why I find a lot of disagreements. As for leaving? I still have a few days here. Perhaps two or three. It should be more than enough time to make sure you have everything you need before I depart. If you find yourself in need of travel, I will be leaving the Gentle Breeze and the Beautiful Mind at your disposal. If it is speed you require, if you must travel, take the Beautiful Mind. If, by any need, you must go somewhere with extra escort, take the Gentle Breeze. I will be traveling aboard the Viridian Sky, so you need not worry about me being safe. She's large enough to fight off any raiders."

| He was leaving her ships in case she needed to travel? Ana looked up and him and frowned some. "Where would I possibly need to go, dearest?" She asked. Everything she needed, except Alyn, would be there and at her disposal. Even the spa day that they were planning was being brought in to them, so the group of girls wouldn't have to even leave the castle if they did not want to. Of course, she supposed that there always was the possibility to need to go somewhere, but she doubted it. "If I need to go anywhere, I am sure Irlilia will arrange the appropriate transportation. You are letting her stay here, aren't you? She was the one who had this brilliant plan for a spa day or...days as it is sounding. Apparently I am having a massage, which is something I have never had before."

| "Irlilia and Gadrid will be remaining behind, yes. Possibly Larna as well. I have no real need of her on this trip and the three of them should be more than enough to protect you if you go out and about. Still, I just wanted you to know that should the need arise for you to travel, you need not take something so slow and under-armed as a standard Lambda shuttle. You have far better at your disposal."
Stark smiled at his fiancee and kissed her on the cheek. "Everything will be just fine, my love."

| "I highly doubt that any ship at my disposal will even move while you are gone. I do not know Lorrd well enough to go out on my own, despite Irlilia and dear Gadrid being along. | "Hardly worried at all, my love. If I didn't take the proper steps to ensure you were well cared for though, I'd be concerned. However, it is my practice to place a number of backup plans in the event of anything going wrong. I won't be gone long either, my love, certainly not long enough for anything bad to happen or any upheavals on Lorrd. Even this minor issue with the Argazdans has no likelihood of spilling over into Lorrd."

| "I am well-cared for here, whether you take proper steps or not. I am pretty sure that I am rather well liked." She said as she leaned back against the balcony railing. Ana idly fussed with the collar of his shirt with her fingertips, smoothing the fabric some as she stood there. "How long? A few days?" He had told her before, but if she could at least talk him into reducing the number of days, he wouldn't be cutting it so close to their wedding, in case something were to happen.

| Oh she tried, so when he said a week, again, she left it at that. "We have to pick cakes." She said, suddenly remembering that they had been out there a while, and there were a great number of people waiting for them. It shouldn't be a hard task, she thought, and it had to be far less overwhelming than the sampling of the menu selections. That and the smell wouldn't be overpowering and...fishy. She thought that it might have been the fish that did it in for her.
"And then you and are going to do something, just the two of us." She said, before she took his hand to lead him back indoors.

| Ana smiled. "It is a bit much, isn't it?" She said as she rubbed his back lightly with the palm of her hand after he stretched some. "It has actually been a lot since before then....since the first time I visited here, actually. I am still not, and probably never will be, used to things being done for me." She hoped that made sense to him. That had been her only real fear, aside from losing Alyn, that she wouldn't be able to still do the things she wanted to do. There was always someone there to do things for her, who wanted to because it was their job.
There were cakes, heavens there were cakes. Ana glanced to Alyn for a moment. "There won't be any of that cake smashing business, right....?"

| "It took me along time to get used to it as well," Stark admitted, "My grandfather... on my mother's side, that is, disliked seeing anyone do anything for me. Aside from tutors, I didn't grow up with many people handing me things. It's still not something I'm used to, in some ways. Of course, grandfather was a real bastard... never was fond of me. Much more fond of the legitimate son, but he was just as much a bastard, and he met the end he had coming for him." Oh, that was a story in itself. It had been one of Stark's first deaths he ever had ordered and even to this day, it had been never traced back, considered solved and shelved.
"No cake-smashing, my love. That's a terrible waste of a good piece of cake, after all."

| "Not to mention hours in a makeup chair and a beautiful hand made silk gown. Promise me Alyn....." she pleaded with him. Not only was it horribly embarrassing, but messy. And she always thought it was a horrible tradition. "But yes...terrible waste of cake." She said with a smile as she squeezed his hand lightly.
"What do you mean by that, Alyn....?" She asked, regarding his grandfather.
